Have you heard of any more dates yet?
I know we all love J and trust me, he’s my FAVORITE, a guitar guru and zen master, but
I’ll say there are a few songs I need to skip over sometimes. I’m really bad at lying so there’s the truth. I’ll be nice though and not name the tracks.
Hee HeeSome of my favorite debut albums are:
Psycho Candy- The Jesus and Mary Chain
The Lion and the Cobra- Sinead O’ Connor
Ten- Pearl Jam
13 Songs- Fugazi
Tracy Chapman- Tracy Chapman
Love- The Cult
1039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours- Greenday
People’s Instinctive Travels- Tribe Called QuestI’m sure there are many more that I can’t think of right now.

I thought "Ammaring" would be on there too since J did the most amazing, beautiful, wonderful version of that at the El Rey a few months back. I was actually bowing down to the guitar guru about half way through the song. (Jokingly of course…I’m not that much of a stalker) Ha Ha
I’m so stoked to hear from J himself that he’s doing ok and that he’ll be back here in the states recovering. J, write us some more while you’re resting in bed recovering! Lots of Love!

It must have been so terrifying for all of you to be in an accident, and then to be in a foreign country, so far from home. I am so happy to hear that you are all ok and that the unthinkable didn’t happen. J, I’ll be sending you good healing vibes and thoughts everyday until I hear that you are better. In the meantime, rest rest and more rest. Take care

I would love to hear J Cover the following songs:
Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head (yeah the old song)
Ripple by the Grateful Dead
Love by the Sundays
And oh my God, J did Leaving on a Jet Plane? I love that song ever since I was a little girl. I know J and I think alike.
Michael Rosenbaum, who will play "Lex Luther" on the WB’s new show, "Smallville" is a big Dinosaur Jr. Fan and fan of J’s acoustic album, "Martin and Me." Michael can also be seen in "Urban Legend," "Sweet November" and was a regular on WB’s "Zoe…" He’s done other things such as a small part in "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" and used to be a regular on Tom Arnold’s "The Tom Show." He will be starring in a movie tentatively called "Sirority Boys" to be released next Spring. Michael likes to play J’s songs on his accoustic guitar when he has company at his house. We all sing along to "What Else is New."

I would ask him what kind of women he dates. After being J fans for years and listening to all of his lyrics of heartbreak and longing, my roommate and I always wondered what some of his girlfriends looked like.

Other celebrity J fan sightings:
I saw Tim Meadows from SNL in the audience at both the Troubador show last Oct. and the El Rey show two months ago. He was standing way up front, just like me.

I remember that photo made me listen to the album because I loved the photo so much and the green sloppy writing overtop of the black and white photo was so "punk rock" to me. I worked at a record store and stole the poster after we took down the display. I wish I still had the poster. Now that I’m older and I have more taste, I’d actually mat it and frame it. I had it tacked and hanging by masking tape way back when so it was ruined when I took it down.
