In order to get all the songs, you have to buy all four editions of their crappy record.if thats true, those uncle fuckers can whole heartedly suck my cock.
-EDIT-

corgan, you CUNT why the fuck do you release a record for HMV? could be any less rock n’ roll?

HAHAHAAAAA!!!! *from the bottom of the pitchfork review*
as you can tell, i’m extremely displeased by this revelation. and now want to murder corgan.
i dont suppose there’s much sense in me doing the whole "don’t write like J does, write for yourself" thing right?
riiiight.
*silence*
I like. always impressed to see a guy modifying a squier.
"severedlips " wrote:hey Wilco fans……..for those of you who haven’t heard the new album ("Sky Blue Sky") yet, the boys in the band have kindly posted it on their website for free streaming until its official release (may 15th). i’ve been listening to it for a few weeks now…via SoulSeek…..and it grows on me a little more with each listen. give yer ears a treat HERE!
………….rock out, peoples……….good man, another wilco fan. i’m not big on sky blue sky. it bears all the Wilco hallmarks of excellent lyrics, flawless musicianship etc etc, but it just doesn’t grab me like others do. That thing critics were getting all flustered over, the really iritating optimism of the lyrics, was there for me too. Not a bad record though, but still: I doubt theyll ever do another quite as good as Summerteeth eh.

thats the actual song, not a demo. I’ve never been a fan of the Pumpkins, but the harmonic intro’s grown on me.

June 20, 2007 at 5:14 pm in reply to: Opinions after reading "Our band could be your life&quo #129762I havent read the book, but I assume the issues people mean is the way J treated Lou so badly, and how Lou and J’s fighting made Murph go mental and stuff. in fairness, they were just young and angry people. kinda makes sense really.
least theyre all sound now eh.

"unchained " wrote:what is the actual scandal with the BJ Armstong LP Jr? seemed a little high for a more or less stock guitar but other than that i’m sure it’s pretty nice.massive price for what’s really just a basic, single pickup guitar. endorsed by a guy who can’t even play. thats purely on account of my opinion though.

phenomenal album, nice and sleazy. classic Cave, makes me wish I was old enough to have been around when he was in the Birthday Party.
"Starlight " wrote:So, question 1. for making something like that, is it necessary to buy a $500+ guitar. Here we have a store which sells less then $100 "Misfit Guitars" which are usualy old 1970-1980 rip off guitars that look and probably sound awful, but I wouldn’t mind rocking one of these ugly beasts if I could work with it.Of course, you could work with it. But really, I wouldnt recommend it. Shit guitars are shit guitars, and you’d find yourself craving something better. I’m assuming modifiying guitars isn’t for you yet (I may be wrong), so unless you want to buy a shitty guitar and build it up, which costs a lot of cash, I’d recommend getting a kind of middle/low range but decent standard guitar, such as a mexican fender. don’t bother with big ass American Standards (unless you’ve got the cash of course), just get something workable, that you can buy and be content with for a while.
"Starlight " wrote:2nd question is Effects, what would you suggest for something like this. If I were to completely overdrive the sound, and then use a compressor on it, how much melody can I work with doing that. And I’f I’m just loading distortion like that, Should my guitar be up on the Highs with little bass to be able to play with melody? I used to have an Alesis X-Guitar which has an effect that when your would play a chord, The attack was slow, and the more chords you played, the more noisier it would be, Could anyone tell me what would make that effect?Work out what’s best for you. As the guy before said, the wall of sound thing is easier with 2 guitars, but it can be done with 1. but it needs a lot of gear. Good pedals include MXR Blue Box (nastiest, noisiest fuzz there is), Proco Rats (best distortion pedals in the world, in my opinion), and Electro Harmonix do excellent filters. I think what you’re also mentioning there would come under compression pedals? If so, watch your step. it’s like EQs, the amount of crappy compression pedals defies belief.
blue box
great pedal.the little fury things issue, I think I’m hearing it there. The wah makes the mad fuzz sounds slicker, but I can hear the octave shifting in there. I think.
heh, i came here and posted a thread in the news section about this. but I’ve been beaten to it. ah well.
what concerns me is that this doesnt really seem radically different from a standard Jazzer, apart from the bridge and paint job. then again, the price seems like it’ll be similar to the reissue Jazzers just now, so I guess getting one endorsed by one of the coolest guitarists alive is no waste of cash.
at least it’s not a scandal like the Billie Joe Armstrong guitar. He’s a cunt anyway though, of course.
