How often do you have to replace tubes and how do you know they’ve gone bad.

Also – any ideas where to buy the new Marshal Amp? I don’t see it on Musicians Friend.

I’m not much of a techy with guitar gear.

        What exactly does this mean?

        Is this a tube amp?

          Alice,

I just wanted to say I’m a big fan of yours. I’ve enjoyed DJ songs for so long, but they’ve been a mystery to me in trying to play on guitar. I could get a part here and there, but not the whole thing.

Your tabs have helped me become a better player and I’ve been having a blast. You probably have no idea how much you’ve helped me and how much fun I’ve had Rockin out because of you.

          Sorry to get mushy.

I think I may have figured an alternative way to play the last three chords of the quiet part of Raisins, but I don’t know how to post tab, so perhaps you guys could help out a newbie.

I just tried to type this tab – but aren’t you guys using some software or something.

Please let me know if you think this sucks. I’m trying to get better and it would be nice to know if this is not right.

            Also – wasn’t there a tab for Severed Lips – I can’t find it.

              Alice – you’re the man.

I wanted to say – it’s better than I came up with ;).

                O.K. – No drop D – Move along.

Still like to see what others think of how to play intro on thumb live.

Right after about a year I have finally figured out the little quiet part in Raisans and I also edited the verse and now I’m totally happy with the tab, thank god!

Hey – I’m pretty sure your still missing a part on this. Maybe you left it out in the tab. I’ll try to work on it later.

There something else in ther before the slide.

Yea – Where did you get it?

Why did you title this thread "weird story".

I have a vintage Big Muff – any idea how it your pedal sounds compared to a Big Muff?

These helped, but do me a favor…play the song with dropped D tuning.

Try playing the intro on Whatever’s Cool With Me this way and especially when it slows down during the guitar solo, but still heavily distorted when he plays the intro again.

I think Thumb on Whatever’s Cool With Me is a much better version and I love the guitar solo.

I’m convinced he uses a dropped D tuning.

I would be curious to see what you came up with. The other tabs I’ve seen don’t do it justice.

I’m looking for the live version like on Whatever’s Cool With Me.
