To be honest I just expected them to play some new songs on the tour anyway. It would be strange if they didn’t play any new stuff seen as they’ve been working on this album for quite a while now.
Thats a really great site
From figuring out alot of J’s solos they were nearly all the G-Major scale or that scale moved up. What scale is the gargoyle solo in? I really like improvising on that scale.
Ok i choose Drawerings, Puke + Cry, Out There, Whatever’s cool with me
I would have picked mindglow and I ain’t sayin but i don’t think they were played much so probably no chance
Melvins – Manchester Academy 13/12 day after my birthday so hopefully I won’t have too bad a hangover for it

If they say YES, we’ll have a poll, run it for a day, then send them our results.
Yeh I would have killed to have seen that. Could you please re post those pictures you got of the Don’t preformance. I looked for them the other day and they were gone. Any chance you could ask them to play Don’t at the ATP festival

That sounds like a good plan though
Well i’ve only seen the re-union twice and I’d just prefer the first 3 albums but I know you’ve seen them god knows how many times over the last year so I see what you mean. I hope they play some new stuff but what I really want to hear is DON’T!!

I’d still like to see Out There, Drawerings
Figured out No Bones, pretty sure it’s correct. I’m thinking though that the part after the second verse could actaully be the verse but they both sound good so give me some feedback. I also updated the solo too, it seems so long since i figured that out

Then solo over verse into chorus[/pre]I’m gonna post my corrected version of They Always Come. I play the pre solo differently to Jingo (thanks again for your tab) and I think it sounds more accurate. I’ve spent abit of time getting the solo better and easier to understand too.

"anthony " wrote:I recommend The Clash to the Dino group a lot, so if you are logged in, and hit ‘play recommendations’ does it play The Clash? How do you give people recommendations? Does it let you recommend a specific song? I got a Clash song from you last week and it just appeared to me when I went on the site. I was brought up on the clash and all the other UK punk bands by my mom.
I just played the recommendations radio thing on my user page and it played Lemonheads and Neil Young so that must not work properly.
No problem but yeh I do think it will take alot of time to get right. I’m not sure how much the tab will help because the timing is so hard to get because everything is so fast. You will really have to study the song hard when you play it, and basically figure it out yourself using the tab to help. I couldn’t possibly tab out every note where J play really fast because the tab would have been too long and even harder to follow. I really hope you guys can get it anyway, it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever attempted to play, way harder than metallica solos etc
I like Same Day, I’m Not Fine and Back Before You Go
Thanks for the info, I’ll search for it on freesofree. Yeh Lou just totally changes the song and it’s so good. I’ve heard a few good screaming versions of Mountain Man, my favorite being on the Doornoosje (NL) 1/11/87 show. Thats just probably my favorite Dinosaur live show ever.
God you are lucky, I would get a train down for both shows but it would cost to much money seen as I’m going to the ATP that friday

SLUDGEFEAST SOLO. This is a beast, it is so hard and fast, really fast! It’s the hardest thing I’ve tried to play, harder than metallica solos, it’s gonna take alot of time to learn. Alot of the time in the solo J plays single notes really fast with over 8 strums so I have just put in 4 and I’ve kind of highlighted these with text above.
I hope it’s useful to somebody who really wants to learn it anyway
