What album were you listening to? At least half of the album is awesome. And just Set Us Free is enough to make it great.
I think its all great. It would be cool if they did new stuff because the Fog is essentially all J and it would be cool to hear a little something else to counter thrown in there and I like Lou’s stuff alot so it would be a good counter balance but either way I agree I doubt technically it will top the last Fog but I have never seen J Lou Murph and I haven’t seen Murph (as Dino Jr. saw the Stooges) since 93 so that will be cool. Heck I am flying from NY to LA in hopes of seeing them, with no definitive confirmation of who it will be. I was kinda worried about J playing with that band Witch cause I want him to get on new stuff. I mean last I talked to him he said he had a bunch of songs already. Its been like 2 years since Free SO free but I think J just wants to chill. I don’t know how well it sold and touring is always a tuff balance for him to make money.
What happy cow t-shirt

Maybe they took it down because they were getting too many hits for J. Mascis. I would be bummed I missed it. I have never seen J play drums. If I get a chance I will ask him about Witch in LA.

or stage left(all the later years w/ the Fog)

That is an interesting question but I have seen J on the right when the Fog was cobra Verde

Than again maybe Cobra Verde. Heck I can play bass on the later Dino stuff or Fog stuff if J wants to play them.
Well he played on it so its no that weird but their is the Del the Funky Homosapien line," Dinosaur Jr. You’ll find there going to ruin you.
Probably but he has seen me in CO and LA before.
I got mine through J. Mascis.com Now I have to book my plane reservations.
I’m thinking I need to book a flight too.
How about a webcast. Or definately someone has to tape the whole thing.
nevermind
If they do play, someone better record it and post it on freesofree the next day or else.
well I saw J as soon as I got out of a cab when I got there and he was with his crew and I didn’t want to interupt him. And than he came in and was standing near me checking out the first band for a minute and I just didn’t feel like asking him about the reissues or the reunion. I am more interested in the future of the fog and didn’t want to get into that for a second.
You are crazy. George is a much better drummer and thats why he replaced Murph. And Murph has been doing a little too much H last I heard but like I said George likes to party to.
