I am looking to sell some classic Dinosaur Jr. pedals. I hate to sell them but I need the cash for rent. I am looking to sell a vintage clone theory in good shape sounds excellent one knob has been replaced; a vintage memory man some scratches but excellent shape and sound, three knobs with echo and chorus; a rarely used roger mayer classic fuzz from 1998-autographed by R.M. and unpainted unlike other classic fuzzes that are black. And the new black big muff used three times sounds really solid. I would sell the clone theory and memory man for about $150 each and the classic fuzz for $70, and the big muff for $35. If you buy them all I will sell them for $350.Email me at vibrolex@hotmail.com if interested.
J played quest, repulsion, sameday, flying cloud, get me, little fury things, Every mother’s son, thumb, blowing it, a new song or cover about everyone letting him down, and a new song about freedom being gone, keeblin, what else is new, ammaring. He played on two accoustics, a Gibson J-45 I believe and a Hummingbird, he played through a Z. Vex fuzz factory and an Ibanez ad9 delay. After the show he said he had t shirts for sale and everyone was like What? More songs not tshirts but I thought it was cool. They were Hand it Over shirts and more light shirts
I think he played throw down too last night but maybe I’m still in a fog too.
J. uses the big muff combined with the clone theory at the end of the lung
Jimi used Leslie rotating speakers you can buy newly made ones but the vintage ones are very expensive. You can also buy effects pedals that emulate the sound pretty well. Just search the internet for leslie rotating speakers
I have the where you been cover, J Accoustic shirt, more light cover, but my favorites are Green Mind concert t and Dinosaur Jr and Alien workshop together I think is the best.
Lee Renaldo screams on Little Fury things.
There is a song called Noon at Dawn that Mike Johnson sings that was also on the BBC
That cover features a pretty cool article on J. If I can find it I will try to scan it for everyone.

not compelled!
how can anyone not be compelled by ‘don’t think so’? and i’ve got a real soft spot for ‘over yr shoulder’ – the real fuzzy intro with the drums kicking in has me air drumming every time….I’ll get a copy and post it..
the album is great though – there are duets with Tom Waits (sounding pretty typical cool waits with clunky percussion and stuff) one with Nina from the Cardigans (!) and two with Polly (J) Harvey.. there’s also some stuff with John Parrish also of PJ Harvey (he also did some stuff on the Giant Sand album..)
– and, yeah, a really nice guy, i was expecting some strung out miserablist from what i’d heard ..Sarklehorse sure do rock – got a copy of the new album and did an interview with singer Mark Linkous last week…
he was really friendly, which was a great suprise, though he talks almost as slow as j.
sparklehorse and mark lanegan albums both released in the same week – awesome scenes I’m pretty gutted – i had guest list for the manchester show but couldn’t make it all the way from cardiff in time… it was all a bit last minute…
i’ve gotta say i’m torn though – it’s great that Asheton is there but i’d much rather see a set list swaying more heavily towards dino / fog tunes…. still REALLY peed off at missing the show though… see, torn -
