Always has been, always will be, Where You Been.
Totally agree with the comments above. Really good atmosphere and vibe in the crowd. I’m a little surprised that they played so much from the new album nothing from Beyond or Farm.
One note-It was actually Forget the Swan they played before the encore, not Gargoyle.
After listening intently to three different versions, this is what I hear but the last word in the vast expanses verse is really hard to make out. It might even just be a moan…

No time ___ (line? mine?)I’m on Last.fm as "andyfest" if you want to friend me there. I didn’t see the point in having two music-related social network accounts like that, especially since I hate buying stuff from iTunes and Ping is just another way to get bombarded with iTunes promotions.
Yep, Hand it Over was: http://www.amazon.com/Hand-Over-Jewl-Dinosaur-Jr/dp/B0018RKELE/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1282765459&sr=1-2
Doesn’t look like there’s a reissue of Without A Sound yet, though.
Yeah, I was thinking they were already reissued. I’m pretty sure Hand It Over was at least because I was confused as to how an album that came out in 1997 needed to be remastered or whatever.
August 17, 2010 at 1:37 pm in reply to: Lou says there is pressure to record new Dino in winter #137956Definitely good news. Would love new stuff from both J and Dino but would be very happy with just one.
Here’s my best crack at it. I’m fairly confident about everything except the "it’s the pain, plan, blame" part. Can’t make out what he’s saying there.
On this day where you’re so messed it’s clear
Can’t explain the road you’re on
Anyone who’s been
As I walk with you, It chills me so
To hear you say it’s come to this
Come to this againIn a dream I always talk to you
You seem fine again, asleep
Feels alright to me
Is it right for you?
Flippin’ out I try to call to you
Do you call to me?
Tell me what to doAnd I know it’s not the same [as the plan?], still I’m bothered
And you say it’s not your deal, it’s mine to feel
Follow throughCome alive I know you’ll sing to me
I won’t sing to you
It’s not a thing I do
Has it been a different feel for you?
The whole time this was going on
Or is it something new?
And I know it’s not the same, there’s no blame, still I’m bothered
And you say it’s not your deal, it’s mine to feel -You won’t pull me through-
Any way you’re not the same, it’s the pain
Follow throughIt’s a lingering that comes through me
Does it come to you?
Are we really through?
Any guy would do this thing for me
It’s not much to ask
Why can’t you?
I’m not gonna say I’ve had my way
You sure saw to that
But what else can I do?
You promised so much, lied with every touch
I believed it
Follow throughIf there’s ever a movie made about J/Dino, this dude from 30 Rock has to play J:

…and yes, best first post ever. Well done.
Early favorites are Ocean in the Way and Over It. I like the whole thing though so others might top those pretty soon.
…oh, I almost forgot, Said The People is up there too. Lovin’ that song.
A 77 on Metacritic. Not too shabby! http://www.metacritic.com/music/artists/dinosaurjr/farm
Sister Hazel kind of sounds like Hootie and the Blowfish or something.
3 Doors Down kind of sounds like Lifehouse.
Neither should EVER be compared to Dino, hahaha!

Unrelated, http://twitter.com/loubarlow”>http://twitter.com/loubarlow is now up. His manager is behind it at the moment but Lou will be in the driver seat very soon.
It was surreal for me getting the email "Lou Barlow is not following you on Twitter" yesterday. It’s weird when your hero’s start following YOU!
Finally got my copy with bonus tracks in the mail today. Can someone tell my why Houses isn’t the last song on Farm? It would have been perfect!
"King Tubby" wrote:Though this part smacks of bathos:“Farm” is not only by far the best album of their twenty-five year career, but it also is quite possibly one of the finest rock albums ever recorded. At the very least, it’s the best straight-ahead rock record of the last couple of years.
From "one of the finest rock albums ever recorded" to at least "the best straight-ahead rock record of the last couple of years" in two short sentences!
Well, to be fair, rock’s only been around what, five years?
