I saw them open for Super Furry Animals a couple of years ago and thought they were great live. I’m looking forward to seeing them open for dino tonight!

And the 10 min live version of So what else is new seriously rocks!
Knowing these two songs are on there is enough to convince me I need to buy it. I wasn’t sure before since I have all of the b-sides that were listed in the article.

I will be at that one too. There is going to be a MAJOR venue difference as the City Hall show last night was in a large wharehouse and Young Ave is so tiny. Interesting dichotomy for those who make it to both TN shows.
Lou is good to have around.
Actually, referring to the Indianapolis show tomorrow (Tuesday). I don’t think J or Dino have been here since the Without a Sound tour.
I’m happy to see Dead Meadow is opening here tomorrow night. I saw them open for Super Furry Animals three or four years ago and was really impressed. I think their sound lends itself well to the live show but is somewhat boring on CD. Looking forward to seeing them again but looking more forward to the Lou in-store and hearing the Wagon live!

It’s also going to be very interesting to see what goes on with the trade.
The next episode is Rose/Bernard centric, and should be really good, because they go on haitus for 3 weeks, then return with the final 4 episodes straight.
So it was J playing the drums all along! I get it! Or wait, am I making YOU up?
I’m just not sure how to take what Gale was saying. I’m a little surprised Locke is believing him at all about the numbers since he’s lied about everything else so far. It will definitely be interesting to see what happens with Gale and Locke. I think there’s a break after the next episode so I’m guessing this one will be a cliff-hanger.
Yeah, definitely bring them. It’s fun to pull them out once in a while just to see how deafening the show is but you should definitely have them in for 99% of the time.
I thought this episode was pretty good. Nothing amazing but very solid. I think Dave looks like Murph.
I read J say somewhere that pot give him a headache but I’m not sure that means he never smokes it.
I love this song and have always been disappointed that it doesn’t get more props. I think this, Freak Scene, Pond Song and They Always Come are my favorite songs from Bug.

I love a couple of songs like ‘Alone’, ‘Loaded’, and ‘Gotta Know’ but there’s some mediocre stuff too. Still love the album overall but it’s in the bottom half of my dino rankings for sure.
Yeah it was a great episode last night. I’ve felt like the pervious few weeks left a lot to be desired but they got back on track last night.
I like Sebadoh. I own Bubble and Scrape, Bakesale (my favorite), Harmacy and The Sebadoh. I need to own III but haven’t gotten around to buying it yet. I like most of what Lou does solo, Folk Implosion, whatever but Sebadoh is my favorite of his post-dino stuff.
"sebasaur " wrote:i wouldn’t consider it hair metal. more stoner/psych. when i hear hair metal i think poison and cinderella. i have the album, it’s pretty awesome, but i’m into that type of music. if you like Dead Meadow (which I highly recommend) I think you’ll like it. Witch sounds somewhat like them, but heavier.I thought Dead Meadow was really cool live but haven’t found myself listening to the CD I bought very much. Sort of find it boring. I might still pick up Witch, I do generally like this type of music and J on drums is an added bonus.
If I find someone who needs a ticket around here I’ll refer them. Don’t count on me finding someone, if you can get rid of it sooner, do. We Dinoheads are a rare breed in Indy.
Shame you can’t come to the show. I’m stoked they’re coming here.
