I think you’re pretty close. I’ve heard it rumored that it’s nano-technology, basically a bunch of little robots that float around together and can take on various forms. I haven’t gotten into discussing the mythology online or anything but my roommate checks out chats a lot and stuff so I hear some of the more popular rumors from him.
Funny, I got turned on to the show about the same way you did. My roommate bought the first season on DVD two weeks before the second season started. I watched the entire first season in a week and a half to prepare. I’ve never been drawn into a show so easily before.

They’re coming to Indianapolis!!!!! April 11!!!!! I think this will be the first time since the Without A Sound tour that J has been here.
This is wonderful, wonderful, wonderful news after weeks of over-working and feeling overwhelmed. Man, I never thought I’d see this day!

Yeah, wow, this would rule. I said at the start that I didn’t want to get my hopes up for new material and would be just fine with J and Lou continuing to just spit out solo stuff but I’ve changed my mind. After watching those guys over the summer, I’d love them to do something new.
Also encouraging from Lou’s news: "you never know when I’ll be able to show up between Dino-saur-obligations." Translation: "I’ll be so busy with Dinosaur that I can’t just show up whenever but I might be able to fit in a solo gig or two." My translation, anyway.
