Great pics! Thanks for posting them. Looks like it was quite hot in there like I heard it was at Spaceland in LA.
Wow, Dino got three pages in EW?! I thought they were all about Will Smith and Tom Cruise.
I’ve never heard of it but it went for $100?! Is it that rare that they play Pond Song live?

I might just go to both, to the person talking about wanting to hang out with J and the band: the north hampton show would be a better bet. (I bet)That’s what I figure. Unfortunately I can’t get to both shows. Maybe I’ll be able to meet them in Kentucky.

If a lung is collapsed, it can no longer breathe. But since there’s no way to collapse the lung, it still, therefore, is able to breathe the doubt in everyone.
I can’t believe this is still in question.
I’ve never doubted. It’s definitely "breathes."
Yes they did. They did not, however, play ‘They Always Come’ which I’d love to hear.
Cool pics. Especially the one of J with his head whirlin’ around.

If only they’d add the Austin City Limits festival. I bought tickets to it already so Dino might as well play!
Thanks for posting that! What a great interview! My favorite part has to be this:
"Originally we were just going to play a couple shows, and now we’re booked all the way until 2006. I guess I kind of feel like whatever happens, happens."
So they’re booked until 2006?!!!!! Last I saw dates only went through August so I guess there’s more coming…
"lookitssam" wrote:"andyfest" wrote:Maybe that’s why J left that part of the song out when he covered it for Peel Sessions.
I never knew J covered Range Life. Anyone know where I can find that?
You can get the BBC Sessions disc used on amazon here:

"King Tubby" wrote:Am I alone in hoping they’ll start playing "Let It Ride" and "They Always Come" by the time they start their US dates?I’ll keep my fingers crossed for the Noho show. In ’97 Dino played "Loaded" at Pearl Street, the only time they played it out of the three shows I saw on that tour.
Still, whatever they play is going to kick it.
Sure wish I saw them in Amsterdam. Spectacular city.
I’d love to hear ‘They Always Come’ and ‘Let it Ride’ along with ‘Pond Song’. I totally think those songs are over-looked. Some of my favorites from the early years but they never seemed to get played. I’d also like to hear ‘Yeah We Know’.
I love "Loaded" it’s one of my favorite songs from the later years. You’re lucky to have seen it live.

I’m guessing they’ll be selling for $20/each a the US shows.
"SG" wrote:Artie Sinatra does the guest ‘vocals’.The same guy who sang on the Byrds cover Dino did.I always thought those sounded a lot different than most Dino stuff. Now it all makes sense.
Welcom, Ro! I’m heading to two shows in July and both times I’ll be with people who know little to nothing about Dino’s music. I hope they have the same reaction your friends did. If not, it will be the last show I go to with them
"snow" wrote:+, it would be cool to find that Ozzy interview with J…I remember this was posted a long time ago but it may have been on the old board or something. Or maybe the email list I was subscribed to years ago. I don’t remember. Anyway, it was a great interview.
