Thanks for posting that! It takes a lot longer to read an interview with Lou than one with J!
Nice. You deserve it for all of your dedicated posting to this site over the years (almost 10,000 posts!) and for copying the MOJO article for us!
I am apparently not a winner.

Thanks for posting this! I almost bought the magazine but it’s like $12. I was just planning on going into Borders one day and reading the whole thing but now I don’t have to!
A bunch of openers have been announced on http://www.Dinosaurjr.com
For Covington, KY I’ll be seeing Love as Laughter & Jason Lowenstein so that’s pretty sweet.
Has anyone heard or does anyone know anything about Bardo Pond or Magik Markers? Those bands are opening in Boston but I’ve never heard of them.
I’d love to hear Let it Ride and Pond Song. Have they ever done Pond Song live?
"Coma Girl" wrote:Thanks for the info, looks like a must have for me as well.Wonder if they’ll come with lyrics, most of Pony Canyons J Mascis releases have had lyrics included…

If they do, settle the Breathes, Breeds, Breeves arguement about the lyrics to ‘The Lung’. Actually, maybe it’s better if we never know….

(it’s "breathes" by the way
)Awesome!
Freesofree is so great, it’s impossible to find everything you could possibly want even though it’s all there somewhere.

Great find! Have any of you ever heard this version of the minor threat song before?
I think it should be pointed out that Kevin Shields did work with J on Hand it Over (or was that More Light?).
I agree that a collaboration involving J, Watt and Kevin Shields would be nothing short of amazing. Not at all disagreeing with J’s vision being the reason for some amazing music but this would be a killer lineup.
"Coma Girl" wrote:You might want to contact them about your upcoming move, just in case!Haven’t received mine yet, hope to this week…

Yeah, I’m going to email them I think. The problem is, I know I’m moving but don’t know where I’ll be moving to so I’m waiting until I figure out my new address.
I don’t have mine either. I’m starting to get nervous, I move at the end of the month!
J has said in several interviews that there will be no new material. I’m holding out a slight glimmer of hope that they’ll get along so well it will pull them back into the studio but not at all expecting that.
"FreakScene86" wrote:and plus i shouldnt have to drive for hours upon hours into the toilet bowl known as america…. thats just insaneSeriously dude, I’m driving 2.5 hours on a Thursday for the show in KY and flying to Boston for another one. Dino/J hasn’t been to Indianapolis since ’95 but I accept that my lame city can’t get good bands so in order to see them, I’ll have to drive or fly somewhere else. If you’re not willing to do the same, don’t expect the bands to come to you.
I’m shocked. I just went through the purchase process on Ticketmaster and they are actually cheaper by a couple of dollars. If I had to do it all over again, I’d still go through Dinosaur Jr. ticketing just to avoid supporting Ticketmaster but still… I’m in complete shock right now.
