Totally, I’d be stoked to be seeing J live and if Lou and Murph showed I’d probably freak out. Of course, this is supposed to be "HUGE" news and as it stands right now it really is only a J + the Fog show which are announced relatively frequently.
Girls are still going through a Lenny Kravitz phase? She will get over it eventually, not to worry. I just hope she’s not into Dave Matthews because that will never go away….
The new Dead Meadow is supposed to be good. It’s sort of psychodelic so if you’re into that style you’ll probably like it. I saw them open for Super Furry Animals and they were killer live. I don’t like their studio stuff that well but a lot of people do.

I’m guessing they are the special guests. With Lou’s tour ending around that time and after a couple of UK have been announced, this has to be it.
Yeah, bummer but at least it means they’re playing US gigs. No way I can get to Cali for that show so I’m hoping they move East from there.
3/28 news is updated. One US show announced but it’s in Hollywood, CA
I hope there are more dates to come…I just hope the announcement is before 5 EST because I’ll leave work then and will not have internet access the rest of the day. I don’t think Dinosaur Jr. news will be headlining CNN tonight or anything.
I bought this one on ebay a while back. I only wear it on really bad days. People always look at me weird when I wear it.
This is the weirdest thing I’ve ever read. Isn’t this the guy that does the liner notes for the reissues?
The best guess I’ve heard as to why "Show Me the Way" was replaced on YLAOM is that it has to do with Frampton’s royalties or some sort of licensing snafu. I have no idea if this is actually what happened but it seems more logical than Merge just deciding it shouldn’t be on the reissues.
How about an all-out boxed set? How great would that be? Every song from every album, new live stuff, DVDs, b-sides, etc. I’d pay good money for that!
Oddly, I didn’t even know the old albums were out of print until the anouncement of the remastered versions. I think I bought my copies back in the late 90’s sometime but I konw I buy my cousin a copy of YLAOM in like 1999. I think I just got it through CDNow. I’m surprised everyone else had such a hard time finding them for so long.
