I was my fathers only son, so he turned me into a lover of football, I now have become very fond of our college games here in Athens. I love college basketball also, both of the games here are so high energy.

The two professional teams that I back are, hold your laughter, Cleveland and Cincinnati. Does anyone remember back in the "70’s" you could get football helmets in like bubble gum machines at the grocery store? I collected them and when Cincinnati lost the super bowl in, gosh, I don’t know 1980 or so, I got my little helmets out of the basement and I jumped up and down on them and broke them all, I was in the 10th or 11th grade by then so I wasn’t as attached to the toy helmets but just needed some release I guess. My favorite part of a game is the fact that I can yell and yell, it is such a release. Last year while listening to the Bulldogs on the radio in my bedroom I started yelling and I scared the children, Little Juan came running to my room and said he thought some furniture had fallen on me. He was very scared. I let him know that was just one of the many gifts my father had bestowed on me. The ability to get so wrapped up in a football game that you start yelling at the top of your lungs. :slap: The smack is for myself. Oh, yeah.

I am up at 3:00 because the dogs are freaking out!!! Something is out there. They are growling, snarling, howling, whimpering I woke the big guy up but he thinks it’s just a fox. I know the dogs; they don’t act like this over a fox.

Well, what do I do. Right now I have the pleasure of staying at home and taking care of the house. I really like it!! Taking the children to school, taking the dogs to the vet. Going to the bank. Just the laundry with 5 members plus Anna makes six is such a lot. I do the shopping and prepare meals. When my husband comes home we have dinner in the oven or on the table. We have 2 bathrooms and just the traffic, ugggg! Little boys are another thing, my son was reading his lego magazine (comes every month) while standing at the toliet, I happened in and noticed his pee was not even hitting the water but hitting the top of the bowel and sort of falling on the floor, Gross :( Now I know. To make extra money I watch Anna and other children after school until parents finish work. I do some sewing also. I taught in a Montessori environment but decided two years ago to spend my time at home so that the beds would be made and laundry folded and put up. I make enough money each month to pay the childrens tuition, health care , groceries and gas for the car, Juan takes care of the rest. We have no mortgage or car payment, I have some money put away in stocks, we have an IRA and some mutual funds, so that helps us to be a little more free. My husband on his passport list Artist as his occupation. So you can imagine the cash just flowing in ,right. :P

Oh, Flying Cloud, Mercury in the sky is again in Retrograde which causes all sorts of little problems. When we called the insurance agency from the dentist office yesterday, I was saying a mantra in my head over and over " I am not angry at this person on the phone" because I was so angry but I knew I was not angry with the person from the agency who was trying to help me. I wanted to say "F*ck YOu, your company has been drafting money out of my bank account and this is what I get" but I kept praying and it worked out. I am sorry you had a day with people yelling at you.

Wow, I dug this topic up out of the deep pit. I had not looked at it since my last post. Oscar has won out in our family and the children are talking to "baby Oscar" through my tummy. I was happy to see I was pronouncing Aatos the correct way, and a great baby name story, Aatos. A beautiful Haiku from "LTG" and a thumbs up from rambleon for Hugh and Oscar. Who is Mr. Bean?

The Spanish pronunciation is OH-Scar. English is of course more like OZ-KUR. In Spanish we call him Bay-bay Oh-Scar!!!!!

I had a terrible day at the Dentist with two of my children, We waited 1 1/2 hours to see the Dentist ( for a simple 6 month check up and cleaning) the receptionist came to the waiting room to tell me that the childrens insurance was cancelled (according to the computer) I was so angry, I mean the payment comes straight out of my bank, finally we got the company on the phone and they said they would call me back at the dentist’s office. Another 25 min. wait and they call back and say " Oh, yes, the children are covered, sorry." Well at this point, I have waited now two hours. I put my cell phone on the counter and walked Juan Carlos back to see the Dentist. We talked for a moment and I remembered I had left my cell phone on the counter top in the waiting room. I went back out and the receptionist said she just saw someone pick it up and walk out the door but she didn’t know the person. Gosh, all of this sucks so bad. I feel better now I have vented to my husband and to freakscene.

J seems a little "Free so Free" to me, Athens, Texas, Colorado, West Coast, Autralia, New Zealand, Cape Cod and places we don’t even know about. Where he lays his head at night might be inconsequential to this event.

I worked for several years at Waseca, an alternative montessori school, we
provided wonderful vegetarian lunches ( samosa’s, spanakopeta, black bean soup w/homemade cornbread etc.. yum, yum) classes in yoga and drumming etc. Waseca now has every year a "Wasecapaloosa" and tends to earn a bit of money through a raffel, and selling posters from the event.

I have been making and selling baby blankets and I have just started to sew words around the borders. I could donate a few baby blankets with J lyrics around the borders, the blankets sell here for $75.00 in New York I imagine they could fetch more.

Wow, Rich, looks great, lets keep it going. Juan is sitting with me and he said how about we go to NYC for the J fest and then keep going North, say Maine or even into Canada. I like the question and answer idea. Spanakopita, I make the best spanakopita, so I would donate the spanakopita. :D

hey genius what does a lung do??? it helps if you play with play-dough while you are thinking about it too.

Hey, I’ll tell you what a lung does!! When there is no way to collapse it, it BREEDS the doubt in everyone.

                      Play dough recipe

                      2 cups flour
                      4 teaspoons cream of tartar
                      1 cup salt
                      1 1/2 – 2 cups boiling water
                      3 – 4 Tablespoons vegetable oil
                      Food coloring (yellow is nice)

Add oil and food coloring to boiling water. Combine remaining ingredients, and mix well. As you knead it, the dough will get smoother. Store in airtight container. Very pliable and easy to roll or sculpt.

I can’t believe this one came up again. :)

Yes, Thanks, thats the one. I thought of a few questions over the weekend and I want to post them there. Not now however, I’m too tired.

Weird about Friendster, I heard an article on NPR about this service and it seem to suggest that this was going to be a huge deal. The next like E-bay or
                        Amazon, I guess not, huh?

I bought two avecados today and they were .79 cents each. Is that about what you pay Robert? I think it is a bit high, but everything is these days.

I’m LOL also. I was so happy to read your last post Rich. I remember back in 1996, I wanted to leave my marriage. I remember my favorite line of all time from our marriage therapy.
I told him, "The fact that you put yourself first always is not what bothers me but you seem to put yourself second and third also and thats what gets me." it just came out.

My favorite joke about my husband a Leo with moon in Sagittarius.

When we travel to Atlanta with the children I always tell them "Your Dad’s ego is so huge that they have to divert air traffic around it." and our family classic. Once when doing the dishes with Micheal Stipe after a pot-luck at the Lemtouni’s house he said " Everyone in Athens knows me, I’m sort of famous" Okay that is such a Leo line. My jaw just dropped to the ground. Micheal’s reply "I know what you mean" The man is a legend in his own mind. Actually, many people do know him. He is very large, warm and charismatic. I should give him a bit of a break. Which reminds me does anyone (anyone who has lasted through this rambleing) remember where I can find the thread about questions we would like to ask J if we could? I forget where I saw it.

I thought it was just a joke, but you fire signs are often thought of as being self-centered. Hmmmmm.

Got to love it though, I was such a humble sweet soul that I fell for the first self-centered , egocentric guy that I found and I am still in love. I just wish he would stop parking in the "reserved" spots at the childrens school at the bank and such. He always says "reserved for me, who else"
