I just found out that that http above needs to be changed to:
      http://www.villaveces.us/”>http://www.villaveces.us/

King of Carrot flowers, I love your name, it has a very ATHENS connection, so beautiful. Yes and boys of all ages can build cool stuff with legos, my girls love them also, they just tend to also decorate the inside of the buildings at the same time the boys are plotting its ultimate destruction.

Thanks OXO, have you seen the topic under Dinosaur JR/Mascis 101, where we are searching for Jwith Elf Power Pics. Brian Poole from Elf Power has copies but can’t locate them at the moment.
It seems the original post of the photos came from you, does that ring any bells. Thank you for these photos and congratulations on you daughters honors at school. My children’s education is my most important investment at this time, worth more than the house and the car and the mutual funds.

Okay, we will put lego city on web cam, involves moving furniture for the day, but thats alright, the children are up in Dad’s studio but they will be down soon to work with the city, they do each day. If you see my children running around in underwear please understand it is in the 90’s today and we go easy on the air-conditioning.

the best way to get there now is:
          http://www.villaveces.us/”>http://www.villaveces.us/
you will find streaming cam at the bottom of the page.

Yes, so far No lego guitar can be found, Grey has some choices he can play an axe or a gun or spear but Lego does need some lego guitars, amps, etc. little lego play lists and purple picks, boy those would be very small pieces of lego.

Our children listen to alot of music. They are familiar with J from me listening, but I don’t always listen to J’s music, they are most familiar with me coming here to post while forming a line behind
me to get a turn on-line. None of my children like anything Dinosaur Jr. they hold their ears closed. They do like J acoustic and when I put something like that on they now are starting to have a favorite song, they still don’t like it when he goes loud during an acoustic song, as my daughter Cecilia "Keeko" says "He just ruined a perfectly good song with that noise" Much of our family stuff gets incorporated into the family lego table, table talk, etc. Soon I want to make a separate post about "The Green Shirt Video" from Free so Free web site, that has now become a classic for my children to watch, more on that later.

I want to get in a plug also, if in Athens this weekend come see Frank Williams play his slide guitar at Clocked (3doors down from 40 watt) on Saturday night around 9pm, my husband Juan and our good friend Kiyoaki will be doing wild sound art at the X Ray Cafe (next to clocked) from 10 until they fall down. I will be home reading to the children but hey, it’s still a pretty good life.

Thanks Jayne for bringing it up, Athfest and Stockholm Syndrome, and The Tom Collins, a band worth going to see for sure.

Hey, I am visiting my friends Holly and Frank in Madison Georgia.
rambleon, I think a freak is always up front, knows all the words, sings along, or in my case looks as if they are praying to J. Screams, hoots, and does alot of smiling. I went to the wash room at the Caledonia and there was this beautiful young girl and she was really pissed off, I had had a few glasses of wine and I asked her "Whats wrong" and she said "I don’t know why I am here" You see she is NOT a FREAK, :( too bad!

but I would love to know more about a California Freak.

drawrings, did you see craycloud with a beer taped to his hand, Do you have any idea why someone would tape a beer to his hand.

My husband suggested he was "sneaking" a beer into the club.
but I just don’t get it and I am stuck on getting it.

P.S. I do alot of writing on the side and this is something that wants to stick around but I need more information.

rambleon, I forgot I wanted to add, Joel has been married and does have children, when we go to lunch together, he plays spot the divorce lawyer, he is just not sure if he has anything left to lose in the event of another divorce. This could be why he is getting worried. He tells me the lovin’ is good, the cooking is good, the friendship is good, we shall see.

Rich, Oh my gosh, I was not mocking you only giving you fair warning, you are a little in need of a girl, she comes over and boom the next thing you know you are stuck wondering, what to do with her. My husband says that about me, he was sort of horny and now after all of these children and houses and all we are stuck together like a tick on a dog. Last year we had our once every 5 years or so big blow out and I told him "You need to move out of my house" and he said "You need to move out of my house"
alas I won he moved to his studio out in the back and I, of course brought him coffee in the morning and so the story goes. I just liked the joke that it would be much easier if you could push a button.

Rich, you have been drinking a lot, is this normal for you?

Yes, I asked the "Oracle of Dephi" this very question, he told me find a few friends in town who have them and ask if you can help them carry them around to various places, load them in and out of vans for them for a few days, I think your question will be answered, and if J is heading for Australia, I don’t think he is going to go back east with them. It seemed like a smart thing, very pragmatic. I hope I spelled that right, I never use that word in print. Oh, a few of us thought , no we didn’t even think, the show in April was not that loud, well, not as load as it has been in the past. I thought it was perfect, I don’t use earplugs because I hate feeling like I can’t hear well, and my ears were fuzzy and ringing, but not like the last fog stop, when I worried for two days I had damaged my ears forever!
Oh, p.s. not risky to rely on fans because if need be they could rent.

Oh, ammaringnyc, you may have to wait a while for your pedal question to be answered. At the 40 watt show a friend of mine had to leave before the show was over. A few days later he asked me "Did he play that Jazzmaster all night" I couldn’t answer him, uhhhh, I’m not sure, from the photos it looks like he played the same guitar , and he didn’t bust a string, I am enjoying the music but not paying a lot of attention to the guitar, isn’t that terrible for a lot of musicians out in Freak Scene to hear that. I do pay attention to the PLAYING of the guitar just not the actual guitar. I mean Honda, Toyota, they all do most of the same things right?

You can start throwing tomatos now, ouch, uggh, splat, yuk

Sophie, you said you wish you were the Freak there, but guess what you were the FREAK HERE!!!! 8)

Yes, first photo is classic J in the "J zone" and the close-up is great.

You are such a Freak, you managed to produce photos from a show you did not see.

I never take my good camera with a good lens to these shows because I want to have a good time and not worry about it getting broken or kicked, that has happened to me many years ago with a very nice camera, so I use cheap ones but these shots make me want to change my mind.

Yes, I hope we all get over it, thats what life is about. My good friend Joel is set to get married in September and he is getting very cold feet. (Thinks now it is not what he wants to do) His girl is out of town for two weeks and he told me he is going to tell her when she comes home that the wedding is off. He asked me to pray with him because he is so sorry that he has broken so many hearts, he feels guilty. I told him we all break hearts and we all have ours crushed when we are younger. Now I must wait for my children who are just a few years away from the teenage years, and I think of the suffering they will go through. Most of us survive it. The funny thing is I have two very tough strong girls and one very sensitive little guy, he cries during animal shows when he sees any struggle or injustice. I still love life with all of its sorrows and sadness, it is full of just as many glorious moments of pure delight and satisfaction.
