Yes, Anna’s parents are very happy. She is a great kid, a sagittarius like J. Her parents also pay me very well. She has been with us from the age of 2. I will have to dig up some now and then photos. Then menu tonight has been changed to something a little more simple then I had planned. Our hound dog just had to go to the vet for $164 bucks this week. Next weekend is the leaf festival in North Carolina, and so I decided to go easy.
We will have a family favorite, Red beans and rice, guacamole, fried plantains, salad and ice tea, for a sweet, mango pie. ( I can make a lot of this for not a lot of dinero) I am going to make a pitcher of Sangria, I lived in Spain for a year and I am a big fan of Sangria in the summer time. I wish I could bring a pad of paper and pencil and make a set list to print for tomorrow but I have to leave that to others because I can’t work and try to have fun at the same time it blows my mind.
Recipe for Sangria:
1/2 lemon cut into 1/4 inch slices
1/2 orange cut in 1/4 inch slices
1 apple cored and cut into super thin wedges
1/4 cup of superfine suger
1 bottle dry red wine, I go for $14 wine or cheaper because well, you are adding all of this stuff to it.
1/4 cup of brandy
1 small bottle of chilled club soda
mix and refrigerate for 1 hour of more.one guy is bringing Gin and another Whiskey! Good Gosh it is only Wednesday. Okay, look at this post I am such a girl, I always think of myself as a "Dude girl" that is what my husband first called me when we met, the "Dude girl" but I am really such a girl.
Thanks, it was nice to wake up and have the computer (via Y’all)
say congratulations. I will be 40 in a few weeks so this was a shock. Yes, this will be child #5, My husband has a child from a first marriage (when he was 20, yikes!)He lived with us until last September, he is now 21 and working in Atlanta in banking, he is doing great. Then we ( together) have three right up against each other,
Cecilia age 9, Juan Carlos, age 8, and Tiger Liliana, Age 5,(this will be the forth Stefka, Juan combo.
We have a child Anna, (age 9) that lives with us during the week because her parents work out of town.So this will be number five of sorts, I can’t wait until we get our camera up and working again then you can try to piece them together. Cecilia has very curly hair, Juan Carlos is the only boy, and Anna hair is long, dark and straight. Tiger Liliana, very blond!Well TONIGHT is the show. We will have a party here, and I told the children they can stay for the party and then we will leave to go downtown and they will go stay with friends.
This post is starting to look like a RUSSIAN NOVEL, but I just had to
say, JUAN CARLOS, he is my little guy with autism , he begged us at dinner last night to take him to the show. IT will be too loud and smokey we told him and you have to be older to even go in the door.
He said "but it is the smokey that I want to see! "I want to see J mascis with his fog machine"" "He will put fog all over the stage and then come out with his guitar and everyone will clap. We don’t have aTV and so I have no idea where he has heard of a fog machine or any association with music shows but he did, so sweet. Bye Oh, Cecilia just reminded me, DUHHHHH, Juan saw that on "School OF ROCK" thats where he got that idea, and he hears the word fog, I get it now. Okay last night it was so funny, we were like "Where did that come from" Chapter 21.Thanks for the tip on the opening act. On January 26th, I think we got to the Caledonia around 10:35 I forced all of my company to come with me. They were moaning (wanting to stay at the bar drinking ) about J not coming on for another hour or so. I got to see the Tom Collins band and I really liked them, I had heard the buzz about them but ….. The Sunshine fix, I think I will have a listen…….
I had someone ask about driving downtown from my house and we have 3 cars leaving from my house for the show. So yes you can just leave your car here. I have just found out (3 weeks ago ) that I am going to have yet another baby! So I will not be drinking. If that answers a few questions. Stefka
Can anyone tell me what is "noodle"

Recording is sort of like a wedding, I mean it is not done on the fly at this stage of the game. If it’s true, then they are getting geared up to record. They have the dates planned. Late summer is only 4 months away!
Oh, btw, I like how the news says they will start in Seattle and go down to San Diego hitting most major cities in-between.
How many is that like 2?
just kidding We all know Oregon has a few major cities. Thanks for that information. My daughter Cecilia "Keeko" is sitting with me and asked me to put a smiley face. Here it is

I’ve never seen J play drums. I really like what he does with the drums. Does anyone have video of J playing drums? Or Photos?

Mercury is odd
going backwards in the sky
Freak scene feels so still
If you look closely at tickets purchased in Georgia (printed up by JOMO) you will notice a misprint. Tickets say J Mascis and the Fog
featuring Dave Schools at the GEORGIA THEATRE???Show is still a 40 Watt show, but that could cause confusion.
MERCURY retrograde until the 30th of April, thats the sort of thing one might expect.
Have Fun.April 19, 2004 at 3:27 pm in reply to: Can’t decide, to go or not to go to Smith College Show. #101266OKAY Rambleon, I’m a gemini so I often change my mind. After reading Anthony’s post I would now say to AMMARINGNYC "GO"
You have a place to stay, that is the biggest expense, It would be great for both Anthony and ammaringnyc to meet up. "Cheeba" is a big expense also. You still will be out a few hundred dollars.Hey guys find Pete (Kracked873)at the show and take a photo of all of Y’all and post it HERE for us to see!
April 19, 2004 at 2:45 pm in reply to: Can’t decide, to go or not to go to Smith College Show. #101263Gosh, I just think of J as so New York now. When was the last time J was in London?
NOT to distract from AMMARINGNYC’S question:
I love the fact that the first two suggestions are different, you say go, I say stay. He saw J at the shoe store and in that club on Rivington street and he can again in May, thats a pretty good record!!!
April 19, 2004 at 1:36 pm in reply to: Can’t decide, to go or not to go to Smith College Show. #101260I think you just answered your own question by asking it. I would stay and catch J in May and then see him again with the fog in (my intuition says) November in New York.
Thanks Jayne et al, Atlanta posters are up and look great!!!! I can’t wait for the show.

Jayne, if you happen to see this. I was in touch with Patrick ( Georgia theatre board guy) I think you must know him, he is a friend of Chris, your friend who brought us the recording from January. I know we are just a few people removed. I have some posters for the 40 watt show and I need some help with Atlanta, if it is not the l5P area, I don’t know it very well. Can you help with a few or know anyone who can? You may or may not see this before Patrick finds you. Stefka
