Ummmm, like I think Mr. Fan, you may have been one of the foolish idiots I was refering to in earlier post> Thanks for fessing up. Now I think we have a few more that need to step up to bat. Thanks, and Seba J, I love you also and thanks for the coca lola, yumm.
Rambleon, you can see a bit of one poster hanging to the right of our web cam at http://www.villaveces.us . I am having fun with this poster. I just took all of my older children to see "School of Rock" at the dollar theater for the second time, and this poster is hanging inside our kichen next to the fridge. Now, I tell EVERYONE, when you get a drink in the kitchen you must raise your goblet of rock and toast the God of guitar!!! My children think this is so much fun and kind of silly! My friends are sure I have lost my mind. This happens everytime J. comes to town it takes a few weeks and then life settles down to normal again. So come on over via the web cam and raise your goblet of rock!
Ditto to Jeremiah, if you have trouble just e-mail and I will try to find a way to help out. By the way grabbed a few posters of the walls around town. What can I say we are sort of fan or you know something like that.

Dim409, show was recorded. I have heard it will be available on "Sharing the Groove.org" however I can never figure out how to get music from this site and must always turn to my husband for help. That can take a long time sometimes. You are in luck, he called me from work this morning and said he ran into a friend who has a copy of the 01/26/04 show from Caledonia. It will take a few days to get to sharing the groove.org. If you have trouble with that site like I do, just send a mail. Stefka
Well, J. of course was wonderful. Just him and his beautiful guitars.
Small venue so very nice. A fuzzy warm purple hat that stayed on his head all night. I enjoy hearing a December child (SAG) sing of freedom, of being free, these messages are deep and personal. We (Athens) were gifted this show, that is why there was confusion and an on again off again thing going down. J. Mascis gave this show to us. This was a rather unplanned show given to us by a powerful musician who happened to be in town it appears on other business. I do have a dream however. J. can move to Athens and do weekly shows and the rest world could travel here to see him. Well, I think it is a pretty good idea. More on songs heard later. Does J. ever tire of slew of foolish idiots mixed into audiences? Perhaps he can just tune them out? Ummmmm, on to brighter aspects next post because at my age, I can not go to bed at 3:30 am like I did last night and still feel full of vigor. Adios mis amigos!!!!!Jeremiah, you say the man gets around and the Catholic in me says
"Thank God for that"
Yes, friend in London we have tickets and we purchased extra as the Caledonia only holds 150 people. All of our extra’s have been spoken for. However, Jerimiah I am confused, you say J is on the way to town, was he not here all week? Well, most of the week?
hmmmmmmmmm???OKAY, I feel justified for my last post. The one in which I claimed the show was not cancelled. When you have a musician for a husband you kind of get the word from the street. Well, that is all I can say. Perhaps J. will move to Athens and LIVE WITH US FOREVER!!!!! The weather is pretty good most of the time. What a great town to live in. YES>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>[/b]
January 23, 2004 at 10:12 pm in reply to: Monday’s Show @ Caledonia Lounge has been Cancelled #98533Hey guys, I have friends working at Caledonia this evening, just called 11:11 pm, asked about the show.
