He said in an interview not long ago he dated guys too so you might be in luck!

Who dated guys? I got into a taxi once with a guy from Texas and we were talking about what was going on in our lives and I told him Dinosaur Jr was coming to town in a week or so and I was looking forward to that and it happened that he was just passing through Atlanta and he told me…"Wow, I had a short little love relationship with blank from Dinosaur Jr. Then he went on to give me all the juicy details. Who knows if it’s true but I loved hearing all the juicy details. My husband shared with me (and he is not shy about it) some of the "boy sex things" that happened to him when he was young. He told me "Stef, that’s so very common..trust me" He then asked me "Didn’t you practice with your girlfriends while you were waiting for your first boyfriend?" Of course, I answered….12 and 13 years old and nothing more exciting than having a slumber party where you got to kiss and touch your girlfriend while imagining they were the cute older brother of one of your classmates. Life has is sweet moments!!!

OH, that’s funny, I should go and change it but for right now I’ll let it stand…..lets just say "on their best behavior"

During the time I was typing that my littlest one wanted to go take a shower and he wanted me to stay in the bathroom with him….I told him I was in the middle of typing something and that he needed to wait a few minutes…he didn’t want to wait so he headed off to the shower…he told me "Mama ,if you hear me scream "Monsters are here" then you come really fast OKAY…please.
        I promised I would.

I always tell him "there are no monsters but if there was such a thing as a monster and you have a dog, monsters couldn’t get into your house, it would cause the dogs to go crazy."

        Dogs don’t like monsters.

The whole reason I brought the marriage and divorce stuff up is because I have always felt the break-up of Dinosaur Jr was one big ol divorce. The reason for coming back together had to be a financial one…period.
A good move I think but it does make me feel a little sad to hear J speak in interviews of still "not being friends" The relationship between J and Lou would always have it stressers because it is a combo of fire and water which, I know I’ve talked about it before, is a tricky one. Lou’s wife is a Leo so Lou’s marriage is a combo of fire and water a situation I imagine he has learned to navigate well. Our karma is often worked out through difficult relationships (squares and opposites in astrology) So J and Lou could be helping each other!

Cancer men (like Lou) make excellent Fathers, they tend to be very involved types of Dad’s who enjoy spending time with their little ones…teaching and showing them all about life. Cancer men are the ones that us Moms find in the car pool picking up the kids, they are the guys at ballet school waiting for a lesson to be over, they are the Dad’s that come to the classroom Halloween party bringing the best homemade chocolate cupcakes with spider webs on top. Sagittarius men on the other hand can often be too busy to play with the kids, when focused on their life’s work they can become unavailable and distant and when it comes to being tied down to the routines and schedules that children demand…they can become restless. So I think it’s great that J is spending some time with Lou while they are both sort of new parents.

Sagittarius men (like J) do not get overly emotional about anything (Cancer men tend to live in an overly emotional state) never getting "hung up" over some ones words. Several years ago, I was involved in a court/money battle with my husbands ex-wife who is a Sagittarius. I was really upset and as we all walked out of the courtroom one morning….I told her "you are the biggest ****** piece of ****and a dumb *****, get a job and stop living off of us" something to that affect, and as we got into our car the phone rang and it was her…I told my husband "oh, she is about to bitch me back out" and he said "No, she is probably wanting to have breakfast with us or something" I answered and she said "I’m hungry and y’all probably know the best places to eat …I want to have a good meal with you…I’m paying." I remember at that point, right then and there, having this total eureka moment in the understanding of Sagittarius energy…I thought ,either she wasn’t listening to me or she just doesn’t care. I’ve been told by the spouses of Sagittarians that it is a little of both. How cool is that though, I was very uncool and frankly embarrassed by the things I said, she was totally forgiving and I think, had an understanding that my "feelings" about the situation were my own problem and not hers. Sagittarians are adventurous never afraid to try something new and never afraid to speak what is own their minds (Cancers are known for holding words in for the sake of not wanting to deal with what would come up next) so I think that those guys could be great for each other…because if you are going to get remarried then it is important to get along and be friends unless of course, your motive for marriage is financial but where is the beauty and happiness in that? Everyone should strive for a beautiful and happy life…
Oh Girl, Capricorn Mama’s are all about writing the "Thank You" cards and saying "please" and "Thank You"..you just wait!!!!!

OH Erin, marriage happens when two people fall in love…it happens….also…..I was 29…..and really wanting to do the family thing. I have been in my realationship for almost 20 years…..there are good days and bad…like everything else. That being said I think there is something to be said for staying together "for the sake of the children" Something has been in the air lately (Saturn opposite Uranus) and many relationships have been feeling the need to work on problems or restructure. I was with 5 Mothers on Thursday and everyone of them was talking about how difficult their marriges are at the moment. One of my friends actually said "I hate him right now" YIKES. If I were to split with my husband it would be a finacial disaster for both of us…and it would have a tremendous emotional impact on the kids. My husband and I are so perfectly matched astrologically, we never fight or argue in front of the kids, well maybe we have, like three times ,raised our voices at each other…but in almost 19 years thats not too bad. The real reason we don’t fuss and fight very much is probably because of me….my husband is double Leo with moon in Sagittarius…I don’t want to fight with fire, there is no winning in that situation for me. I was raised in the deep South where I was taught women let men be "the boss of the apple sauce"….and we try not to meddle in their business dealings, we offer advice but we don’t push or force our ideas. We keep them fed and keep their house clean. We talk sweetly to them, tell them how proud we are of them, we make love to them when they need it because we understand that sex is one of the most effective methods for draining the toxic buildup of stress inside their bodies…We keep the children well manured and make sure they are doing well in school and if all that is done with grace and gratitude….the men in turn are patrons for us. Financing our greatest and most worthy creative endeavor…our homes and our children. I know it’s sort of old school but it works for me. My Mother in Law gave me great advice, she said "women are intelligent and intuitive and you must learn the art of allowing your husband to be in control, like the captain of a ship, but you understand that you are his first mate and he is relying heavily (is dependent) on your advice, wisdom and love."

I didn’t really follow Lou’s musical career post Dino and have only heard little snippets of Sebadoh and Folk Implosion……saw a video from Goodnight Unknown, that was a featured video on youtube just yesterday or the day before and I really liked it….the music was good and I love the homemade feel of the video’s.

I really like some of the sounds I’m hearing from Goodnight Unknown….I think having Lou open some of the Dino shows is going to be great fun. Freakscener Justin Starbuck posted a youtube Goodnight Unknown preview, I’m starting to get into it.

the preview makes me want to hear the full version of the work…a couple of the songs stand out.

Oh, I’m feeling better, I just got a call from my daughter, and she said "you know I was thinking about last night, and I’m sorry we hurt your feelings, it’s wasn’t right, we were trying to be mean to you because we knew it would get to you, I feel bad today that we made you cry"….I told her "apology accepted".

When I leave the house at 7:30, I always make a little breakfast and coffee for my husband, this morning I didn’t do it….just left an empty plate on the counter with a cold coffee pot. He woke up with his tail between his legs, I almost hate seeing him in such a weakened condition as much as I hate his insensitivity.
He left me a little note saying "Sabes que te quiero"

Now I feel bad for feeling bad because it made them feel bad. Geez, I’m a Gemini with moon in Aquarius, I’m supposed to be the Mr. Spock of the zodiac, void of emotion. Life should not be this hard, can’t we all get along.

I’m so lost, what are y’all talking about?….I’m also heartbroken…my teen-aged daughter made me cry last night and then laughed at me as I was crying. She gets that from her Father. She is such a good girl…excellent student…polite and charming but last night was "lets dog Mom out and rip her a new one while we are at it"…..then her Father started in on me. OH, my…I spend my whole life energy into making all of them happy and successful, they come home to homemade granola bars and bread with butter and honey, the best meals in the world, fresh clean laundry folded and put into their drawers, 13 years straight of having my breasts tugged on and sucked by every damn one of them, cleaning poopy bottoms for over a decade straight, on my hands and knees every week cleaning the floor around the bottom of the toilet and this is what I get.
                  This sucks…….and
                  I’m so over it.

I’m so sorry, I owe all my Freaksceners a Kayne West style apology! Talking about urine is uncalled for in polite company. It just so happens that my good buddy J (yes) "roadbird" Goldberg, a wandering vegetarian Jew, proficient in the art of "Jew-jit-su" and frequent consumer of what I like to call his "Mahabharata Cocktail" was visiting me during the time I was posting on Freakscene. I told him I had been feeling a little "puny" lately and probably should go back on some sort of iron supplement, especially during "my moon" and he became inspired to (again) go into his "urine therapy" promotional speech with me…begging me to try for just a "few weeks" to see how good I could feel. He says that I don’t need to drink the stuff straight up but that I should mix it into a nice tall glass of fresh juice or pour some over a big bowl of fruit.
I keep telling him "Uhh, that’s never going to happen" and although he is one of my best friends he then lashes out at me saying "I never thought you could be so closed minded"

"Tell me something Good……..Tell me that you like it ,yeah"

Robert, Do some of the folks in Royston Vasey drink their own urine?
Oh, interesting side note, my friend J "roadbird" lives in Royston, Georgia, just about 25 minutes North East of Athens.

Dino Chocolate bars sold door to door, girls scout style…with names like "Chunks" (pecans and raisins) and "Repulsion" a dark chocolate bar with a hint of J Mascis’ urine (don’t be disgusted, a few of my friends injest their own urine, and can tell you all about the good health benefits, and I’m not kidding)

Hey daughter of Leanne, when Patrick came to pick up your Mama for a date, did you ever hear this song blasting from his car stereo?……………http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P95HLrZZefs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P95HLrZZ … re=related

It’s one of my favorite songs and I was wondering if we, you know, had something in common.

Wait…does Patrick Murphy have a life sized replica of the Death Star in solid gold? I was sort of chuckling because I knew you couldn’t find a place to put one if you had one, then my husband told me if you could afford to have one ….you could afford a place to put it.

Is there another Patrick Murphy, who has more money than Murph or are we talking about our Murph, because if it’s Murph, I had no idea they were pulling in that kind of cash, but now it’s all starting to come together in my mind. I mean the tickets for Dinosaur Jr in Atlanta are like $30.00 bucks each….now I see what time it is…..life size replica of the Death Star in solid gold time.

LUCKY Patrick Murphy….and Lucky Leanne it seems she has a fine daughter.

I love telling Juan when he leaves the house…please don’t die, it would force me to have to do sit-ups and trim my bush….too much work.

Yes, we have been listening to this in the car this weekend a lot…finally this morning on the way to school…the disk was gently placed back into it’s pouch and we are giving it a little break.

but the funny thing I have noticed about these four songs is…it is a strange idea to devote a whole disk with it’s printing and packaging to just four songs…although I understand why they were separated from the other work. Also each song has that "We can fix it in the mix" quality about them….a sort of cut and paste project but that’s not to say we are not enjoying them.

I especially like how jcrumbliecookies comes out to post on Freakscene just once every four years or so.
