Count me in. Lancaster too.
Yeah. I would say Lou’s forum is the place to go for news. Lou is on there posting all the time under the name "Loobie"
I can see Lou releasing his solo CD at the same time as a new Dino CD, with Lou opening up for Dino sometime early next year? Maybe Feb, that’s just my opinion.
Quicksand is the only cover (David Bowie) J mingles the lyrics a bit to make it his own.
When I first bought the Whatever’s Cool With Me cassette way back in 1991, it had a sticker on it that said, "1 new single and 7 b-sides" With the 1 new single being Whatever’s Cool With Me.I can do the Toad’s place show too.
Sept 19 – Toad’s Place – New Haven, CT
Sept 20 – Revolution Hall – Troy, NY
Sept 21 – ATP Festival – Catskills, NY
Sept 24 – The Stone Pony – Asbury Park, NJ
Sept 25 & 26 – Terminal 5 – New York, NY *with Built to Spill & The Meat Puppets
Sept 27 – Orpheum Theatre – Boston, MA *with Built to Spill & The Meat PuppetsIt’s actually night 2, June 04 on FSF. And I found the recording on dimeadozen.org and uploaded it to FreeSoFREE>
But if you’re looking for something REALLY good to download, grab this one.

but, this concert was simply too loud for the frequencies being produced and this was the main problem. it is my belief that the soundman cannot hear anything above 2khz anymore (or was wearing earplugs, which a soundman should not do). already the music in the pauses before the show and between the acts was poor sounding and full of high frequencies, and this was coming from cd. this at a lower volume was already annoying and i already had my fears about the show. the first tone confirmed my fears and i immediately stuffed facial tissue in my ears. i moved around the whole room and stood eventually at the mixing desk but the sound was horrible there as well.
the charm of dinosaur jr. is taking sweet harmonies and dousing them in a carpet of muff fuzz, but it was almost impossible to distinguish the melodies being whipped by a mass of high treble the entire concert.
i’ve seen quite a few shows at this venue and know even though the p.a. is old, it’s still possible to get a good sound there. so, no excuses. do something about this. get someone who can still hear to eq the p.a. or i don’t know just turn it down a few db. in any case guys, continuing to do shows like this one is bordering on the grounds of bodily assault.
Well, the guy at the control’s name is Noel. Here is his blog on the Dino tour. http://noelatthecontrols.blogspot.com/”>http://noelatthecontrols.blogspot.com/

The chances are 100%.
According to J, Dino will be in Chicago for a 1-off in July.
I guess you’ve never seen J Mascis live acoustic/electric before.
How did it go? Did you melt their faces off?
Private torrent??
You should just save up your lunch money and go out and buy it!I don’t really know what that last part is, but I think he’s saying "They’re sweet things"
I think he’s singing about how he didn’t really want to move out West at first, but he did it for her, because he loves her. And he would do anything, anything, anything to please her and to be with her. But sometimes he has to leave, far away from her, only to come back to her heart.
I don’t know about J playing in Thurston Moore’s band, but here is a schedule for J/Witch @ SXSW 2008 obtained from J’s manager.

Here’s my take on the lyrics.
Breathe your air
Cut my teeth
On the bones of a hypocrite that look like me
Ashes stain, window sill
The punk rock boy meets a dyed black girl
Free our families
Lose our minds
Think about the valley from time to time
They’re sweet things, I’ve ever been
Happy that we left but I would leave again for you
Back to your heart
Back to your heart
Back to your heart
You are the only one
Sharing song, so I’ll wait for you
To breathe your air, tend to me
Tell me what you want, and I will try to be
Everywhere, all the time
Think about the future, let the past unwind
You, are my shining sun
The summer comes and I leave again for you
Back to your heart
Back to your heart
Back to your heartFrom the video here

http://www.freesofree.net/albumdetail.php?AlbumID=386″>http://www.freesofree.net/albumdetail.php?AlbumID=386I love this song too. It’s the best of both worlds; Lou singing his heart out, and J wailing away.
I was at the Black Cat show..
And that Ottobar show.
This should go in that concert pet peeves forum, but we’re notorious for showing up 5 minutes before the band goes on, and charge right to the front of the crowd. People are pissed at first, but when they see us all rocking out, and knowing like every song, they’re cool.Alex is a front row charger too. He makes a nice path to follow.
I remember we stormed the crowd in Los Angeles one time, and were clinking beer bottles above people’s heads.Alex and I stormed a huge crowd in NYC one time. I remember I went into the crowd doublefisting two beers in each hand, and lost them all by the time we got to where we were going.
