All u guys who live in the states are real lucky cause you’s have got some real talented guitar players(and muso’s in general) to go and check out on a regular basis(correct me if im wrong on that). If u want to see the real deal in guitar playing you gotta go out and see some good JAZZ; those players have really got their shit together. Being a bass player myself; listening to guys like Victor Wooten and Marcus Miller really opened my ears and made rock music real easy to play and learn. Getting to the piont, we all just listen to the same stuff all the time(jimi,j) and never really open our minds to different styles and sounds; if we did I bet the players mentioned above would’nt even get a mention!Think about it.
