THanks for posting that info. I’ve been very depressed about this and was wondering what the hell I can do. I live in the Bay Area near San Francisco and feel helpless because all we do is sit and watch TV. It totally sucks. We are doing a fundraiser at my job and will donate also to Red Cross. I wish I had the room in my home to bring a family here to CA to help them. JUst imagine all you have is gone. I also worry about the children and how are they going to attend school. It sounds minor but as a teacher, I think of those things. Does anyone know if they are going to school the children that are going to live in the tent citites and at the Houston Astrodome and the other makeshift shelters fo rhe next 4 months. Also, what are gas prices like by you guys? Out here in Livermore, CA it’s 3.11 at the safeway and 3.11 in Pleasanton Shell station.
Got your email. Are you into tech stuff? How’d you do the tour with them on the West coast? I’m totally interested if you don’t mind sharing. By the way, do you have black curly hair? I saw some people that were working with the bands, and they first sat in the back balconey seats and then were up on the stage helping set up the equipment. Do you know many people out here ?
Um, ok, I just saw Them at the Filmore in SF on Thursday night, and granted I’ve listened to their music for the past 15 years. But, I’ve not actually seen them since joining this post last week. What the hell happened to J and the guys? It’s only been about 10 years and he’s that gray? and a little pudgy? I’ve seen lots more musicians that haven’t changed in the past 20 years. If I saw him on the street I wouldv’e never recognized him. What happened? Now do’t get me wrong. I will still love him till I die and wouldv’e had his baby if I could of, (I’ve always had a huge crush on him) but, he also didn’t look happy to even be there. I was right in front. If it wasn’t for security that security fate seperating us from the stage, I couldv’e touched him. Nevermind the fact that the opening band Alaska’s singer was in the audience so close I didn’t want to touch him, they were awful-anyone feel me here? But, I’ve been into them since I was 15, I’m 29 now and boy did that show bring back memories. If only I could have been with my friends that I hung with the first time we heard their music in 1989. Anyway, anyone here from FL? I’m from their and moved to Cali 8 years ago. Sorry to ramble on but I would love a reply.-Thanks Â
