Samwise how is the Wilco DVD. I really want to see it but I don’t know if I want to spend all that money to buy it I’d rather rent if possible.

I’m picking up Greendale today. I went to future shop and I saw it for fairly cheap but I didn’t know if it came with the bonus DVD or not. Are there two version or do they all come with DVD?

are you implying that they’re something wrong with J’s vocals. He may have a terrible singing voice but he is probably one of the greatest singers of all time. So much character.

policy is you can’t use a picture of a pet or cartoon or anything? I probbaly just wouldn’t use a picture for now, or maybe a giant question mark.

                  Welcome aboard.

How come you don’t like post-’95 Flaming Lips? I’n my opinion all of their albums have been perfect since 89 but I don’t care for the pre-Dave Friedman stuff

I had a mixed BT disc I made before and the first album, now I bought the box set. I must say that "You Turn Me On" is one of the greatest albums ever. Definetly in the top ten of all time and that’s saying alot from a music addict like myself. Lots of showgazer two chord guitar stuff and really touching lyrics. No annoying stuff. I love to sing along with Calvin it’s a lot of fun.

I really like what Calvin does with doug martsch in the halo benders as well.

I usually like amazon.ca especially with the free shipping on orders over 39 bucks. their prices are better than amazon.com and they only charge gst

                              also:
Lemonheads: It’s A Shame About Ray
                              Belly: Star
                              Buffalo Tom: Red Letter Day
                              Juliana Hatfield: Only Everything

thanks. that would be about 22.50 (before shipping) canadian which is about what you pay for an catalog album here. so that’s reasonable. find out how much shipping to Canada would be.

Do you think Mike was lying about listening to YLAOM before joining Dino? I would imagine that he would like WIthout A Sound since he contributed a lot and it’s sort of mature and melancholy.

I don’t think that Mike felt tortured playing the music on stage and I imagine that he and J are/were prety good friends. Ear splitting distortion is probably just not his main thing. Much more of a low key kind of guy. I wonder how he feels about caustic resin since they are also soemthing of a loud, extended solos kind of band.

I read a Mike Johnson interview where he was definetly depressed. Sort of life isn’t worth living type of thing. I’ll try find it.
