its probably the other way around dude… doors open 8 show starts 9.30 …. who knows.. id show up at 8 and check it out anyways
i used to live in northern california and we had this big natural jetty on the harbor where the carnies and homeless folk built a shantytown city… this picture reminds me of that place. they had to bring in the national guard to move everyone out.. you really have to think about carnies that let their kids smoke ciggerettes… id smack a kid that young upside their head for smoking. smoking baad… waste of money.
what the heck is vestimental nihilism? is that supposed to be like the whole secret meaning behind nightmare before crhristmas ? or is that people who like to wear black vests with patches and buttons on them?
i think the album is falling into all those old cool things that grunge albums had with them.. secret songs, japnese imports with bonus tracks… a hail back to the glory days when we spent our weed money on cds and scraped the rez, wile waiting for the secret track to kick in… my personal favorite was the nirvana song on that one compilation with the baby on the front..

i saw them at the metro in chicago on their breakout tour.. i remember the show was killer… their sound has never come close to the original album.. at the time i thought thery were better and deeper then radiohead. boy was i wrong.. i do remember the guitar layer was quite the ladies man.. he had a harem off groupies hanging by his amps the whole show.
back on topic. i forgot to mention sebadoh;s the freed weed… that album is one of the best low fly editing masterpieces ive ever heard.. ive still never been able to find it on vinyl… its like a whole album of poledo hijinks and tape loops… amazing ..

all right! ill be in seattle for two weeks and wouldnt you know i can check it at the showbox, that place is cool.. always sells out though… for once my timing is perfect… one good show and then bristol bay alaska for 3 months…
