"parker23" wrote:so your point is that "dinosaur" is another way of saying "deep wound"then why wouldn’t you assume that "dinosaur jr." is the offspring of "deep wound (senior)"
makes more sense to me than the big/little argumentdid you just finish reading the davinci code or something?
just teasing…That’s a great point. Couldn’t it be both? That’s what I’m saying. It’s an oxymoron (Big/Small) and sure, why not, It’s also a way of saying deep wound jr. , the band that is the offspring of deep wound.
a fly on the wall maybe….."new band name. hmm something with sores
….like wounds I guess. gory sore? open sore? giant sore?na…..Looks down at his willy wonka dino eggs or dino sized everlasting gobstopper…..dino-saur. Sweet."I think there is a sound aspect to the name too. I think it hits on multiple levels. It’s a sick name.
Why am I nuts?
Dino is slang for large, big.
What, you never heard someone say "that’s Dino sized (in the eighties)?
Saur, if spelled "Sore" is a Synonym for "Wound."
The correlation is not that difficult. It is a play on words for "Deep Wound."
And the oxymoron angle is obvious. Big and Small. And back to Dino=Big and there’s your deep wound again.
Not acid or shrums, just a clear head, right before bed one night.
Any new news on the first 3 albums getting re-issues. I don’t want to Pay $50 an album used
, I just don’t have that much coin. -
