Got my copy from Barnes & Noble yesterday. Started reading the minute I unwrapped it. Read the Dino bit (of course), parts of the Replacements story and most of the Mudhoney chapter. Read about a show I was at, which was cool. Wish the stories hadn’t ended. Hope Mr. Azzerad has a follow-up planned! Jeremiah, thanks for tippin’ us off to this one. Only answer I have is that, fortunately for Fred, there are female equivalents of himself.
Inebriated Assistant.
My Dad’s name came back as Big Gay Mule. I don’t think I’ll pass that info along to my virile Daddy…..
Thanks, guys. I do have a desktop (at home and work), however it is difficult to pry my son off the one at home at night. Thinking of a laptop so I could get online more in the evening (i.e. other than when my son is in the shower).

Jeremiah, where did your dad see them? A dear friend of mine from work saw the same tour in Jacksonville. He said they were booing Hendrix off the stage. Pretty nuts.
Cool find. thanks for posting!
ELJ, you are not alone. I have a Monkees paperback I had since I was a kid. I had Mickey Dolenz sign it a few years ago and I also have a photo of him signin’ it. The photo is on the wall next to my Tiny Tim and Alex Chilton autographs.
Allsion, are the punk rock covers on the compilation?
