I gotta post some pics, you wouldn’t believe it.
….and most of the CD’s I saved had the sleeves ruined. So now I’ve got a bunch of those stupid CD holders that you usually buy for you car stuffed full of disks in various places in my music room.Try to brouse through one of those when your looking for something to listen to.
Floods suck.
Kinda gives you a feel for whats important to men and women: My wife’s trying to save pictures, momento’s, and whatnot. I’m sayin’ "the hell with that" and trying to figure out how to f**K I’m gonna haul 500 pounds of records and stereo equipment on my back!

taking over 300 cd’s (yes, you read that right) from my precious collection. Washed them right down the street….I saved all my albums though.

Yeah, this is highschool all over again.
The popular kids are gonna gang up on the unpopular ones. Where’s the button for "stuff him in the trash can?"
Hehe….you wanna see some heavy shit? Try this one on for size:
Virgil Caine is my name and I drove on the Danville train
’til Stoneman’s cavalry came and tore up the tracks again
In the winter of ’65, we were hungry, just barely alive
I took the train to Richmond that fell
It was a time I remember, oh so wellBack with my wife in Tennessee, when one day she called to me
"Virgil, quick, come see, there goes Robert E. Lee!"
Now I don’t mind chopping wood
And I don’t care if the money’s no good
Just take what you need and leave the rest
But they should never have taken the very bestLike my father before me, I’m a working man
And like my brother before me, I took a rebel stand
Oh, he was just 18, proud and brave
But a yankee laid him in his grave
I swear by the blood below my feet
You can’t raise a Caine back up when he’s in defeatWhat a picture! Moving. Thought provoking. As good as it gets.

ETTa James- All the Way
Very cool.

Here’s one from the Grand Master himself: Sir Paul the Walrus
Your day breaks, your mind aches
You find that all the words of kindness linger on
When she no longer needs you.
She wakes up, she makes up
She takes her time and doesn’t feel she has to hurry
She no longer needs you.
And in her eyes you see nothing
No sign of love behind the tears
Cried for no one
A love that should have lasted years!Man, I could post here all day….
