          Maybe your diggin’ it more

Anybody…….Can’t believe Bucky didn’t jump all over this one.

Hint: This guy replaced Eric Clapton in the Bluesbreakers, he also wrote a song made famous by Santana…

            Wilco- Anything

Is that bandset worthwhile? New old stuff or did Robbie remastered the old goodies? In Holland it costs about 95 euro’s… ::)

First a disclaimer: I’m a big fan of The Band so, I may be the wrong person to ask.
Anyways, OMFG YES! The DVD alone makes it worth the price. Plus you get another 20 or so alt takes, live stuff, ect.
Seriously, if you’re into The Band at all then I’d say essential purchase but, if your just a casual listener and already have most of their material you probably want to skip it.

Wilco- Anything. REALLLY feelin’ Kicking Television, though
Sloan- Twice Removed (bubblepunk at it’s best!)
Pixies- Surfer Rosa (thanks to SG’s earlier post)
            John Coltrane (ditto)
Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young- So Far

Let’s stay on your side of the Atlantic. I’m listening to this right now:

Baby if you got to rock
I got to be your rockin’ horse

This guys an icon! And apperantly he was deemed worthy enough to play with Wilco (where I matched the picture up) so he’s OK in my book.

It’s definately Billy Bragg (maybe with the Blokes, I’m not sure), but the song I’m gonna guess and say errrrr….New England. Maybe?

Don’t flame me to bad for the ignorance!

I’m pretty sure that’s Bo Carter’s song. I know a bunch of people have covered it with Dylan probably being the most recent. Man, that’s 1920’s stuff. You into Bessie Smith or Ma Ramey?
