How about another "top 50 all time" for me:
Years ago my heart was set to live on
And I’ve been tryin’ hard against unbelievable odds
Gets so hard at times like now to hold on
Guns they waited to be stuck by
And at my side is GodGosh, I;m a sucjer for harmonies

Now, for one of my favorite songs on all time:
And I tell this truth to you
Not out of spite or anger
But, simply because it’s true
Now you must provide some answers
For what you sell has not been received
And the sooner you come up with them
The sooner you can leave (cue tear inducing slide)C’mon guys, the album this came from has been called "the very first “Country Rockâ€? album ever recorded" and "One of the most important and influential Recordings in American Popular Music History".

While it doesn’t qualify a physical pain, I’ve been struggling all week with the death of one of my friends, Matt who OD’d on heroin this past Sunday- the dumbass. He’d been battling the addiction for some time and just got out of the methadone clinic just last month. We buried him Thursday.
Funny how life goes on and we "heal" by thinking about it less and less. I guess I’m still in the "anger" phase of my acceptence of this cause all I wanna do is drink and listen to the music Matt liked.
Sorry for the whining and impromtu blogging but hey, just sharin the pain….December 16, 2005 at 6:36 pm in reply to: My Neighbours Should Pay Me For Playing This Great Music #100264Sloan- Twice Removed

Halarious but, nah, you’d never wanna sent weed over there. C’mon, instead of keeping the peace, they’d be "….screw it….. I’ll do it tomorrow…..where’s the marshmellows…."
Ya know, I’ve been meaning to pick your brain about them; you seem l ike your really into these guys. I’d never heard a note of theirs them until I started visiting this forum and saw alot of gushing about them. I picked up By the Grace of God at random cause I wanted to get em a shot. But alas, I’m having probs getting a whole lot out of the disk: By the Grace of God and Carry Me Home are two winners but, the rest of the album seems super derivitive to me.
However, I’m not giving up just yet! I just ordered High Visibility and will give it a spin in a couple days. I’d ask you what you recommend but, you’ve already done that. Thanks!Rush- The Trees
