Ya know, I’ve been meaning to pick your brain about them; you seem l ike your really into these guys. I’d never heard a note of theirs them until I started visiting this forum and saw alot of gushing about them. I picked up By the Grace of God at random cause I wanted to get em a shot. But alas, I’m having probs getting a whole lot out of the disk: By the Grace of God and Carry Me Home are two winners but, the rest of the album seems super derivitive to me.
However, I’m not giving up just yet! I just ordered High Visibility and will give it a spin in a couple days. I’d ask you what you recommend but, you’ve already done that. Thanks!Rush- The Trees

AH HA! Patty Griffen- Useless Desires! Good one, Deepsludge.
When I was but a meger college student there was some lady covering Patty’s songs in the student union every day for like a week.
Now, for one of my favorite songs on all time:
And I tell this truth to you
Not out of spite or anger
But, simply because it’s true
Now you must provide some answers
For what you sell has not been received
And the sooner you come up with them
The sooner you can leave (cue tear inducing slide)December 13, 2005 at 6:15 pm in reply to: My Neighbours Should Pay Me For Playing This Great Music #100263Rush- Grace Under Pressure, Hemispheres

I think "celebrate" is a poor term here. I went on about a three day "Lennon bender" after realizing (thanks to SG) his death anniversary was coming up and I definately don’t feel guilty for it- gives me another excuse to listen to his body of work, which is what I’m sure he wanted people to do.
Bee Gee’s Maurice Gibb’s death anniversary is coming up, too….
