Ouch!!! So, you wanna play rough, huh?
FRankie Goes To Hollywood- Twelve Inches
FREDDie Fender- Fiesta Tejano
Freddie KING- Hideway
Not a John Lennon tune but, it kinda captures his spirit to me:
We can walk our road together if our goals are all the same
We can run alone and free if we persue a different dream
Let the truth of love be lighted, let the love of truth shine clear
Sensability, armed with sense of liberty…..BadfingER- Maybe Tomorrow
Apple Records second most popular band
Hmmm, weird, and an intresting bit of trivia. Derek and the Dominoes was released almost five years before 461 Ocean Boulevard and Duane Allman played most of the "meat" of the Layla Sessions. But hey, J’s the man.

It’s the devil’s music.
Ever see Great Balls of Fire? As Jerry Lee and his buddy are listening to some rock and roll Jerry’s buddy looks at him and says "That’s the Devils misic, Jerry"
Jerry Lee says "Yeahhh"Love to tap into the collective conscience that is the Freakscene Forum.
OK. J doesn’t seem like a big "pay homage to the great one’s" kinda guy so, it’s always bugged me why he would throw in that oh so famous Clapton lick at the end of Get Me.
Has anyone heard him comment on this? It’s very cool, but still kinda weird coming from him….December 7, 2005 at 5:55 pm in reply to: My Neighbours Should Pay Me For Playing This Great Music #100259My neighbors are now sharing my Beatles/John Lennon marathon with me!
The Beatles- The Ballad of John and Yoko
The "official" version of this was done with only two cuts. Paul and John are the only two playing on this tune. Love that baseline…..

Does J even play slide? His style seems quite suited for it to me but, I;ve never heard him play any. -
