I spoke to him when he was in London and he implied another solo CD. Although that was a while ago and he was probably trying to get rid of me : ) -Plus maybe that album turned into tracks on IBOS??. He never has much to say as I’m sure your aware! Although he did sign some stuff (which some C*NT stole with my bag) and I got to watch the soundcheck by myself! Plus a photo together…..Good day

‘Here’ is the USA ? as they also have stores in Asia & Canada.
I don’t think Canada or Asia will be effected by this, although I could be wrong as I think they are both different companies (although it gets really confusing unknotting that one) A bit like Universal Music and film being different companies but using the same image and branding.

My guess Is 30-50 stores will stay, as will all the online sites, A consortium or entrepreneur(Branson etc) will buy them and change the business model.
Plus the US stores may stay around for a bit, like Tower Records ?

I could honestly write a paper on this…….
But It pretty much sums everything up on that BBC report(It’s well written, spot on the money about everything)

And the indies like you say will love it(and good for them)! Just sad for the people who will lose their jobs because a group of industry dinosaurs got left behind……

The thing that pisses me off is a company like Deloitte will keep dragging there heels (Paid & working for the banks and creditors) over offers as they get paid the longer they have control…..At one point a company I worked for was paying them £38,000 an hour to “sell/save” the business. But the banks and creditors have no idea what to do so they lose that money the longer it takes and I guess they see 1p in £1 is better than nothing and pumping in more money won’t help.

Fucking hate Deloittes (rant over:)I will stop or this just becomes really boring and I go blitz attack one of their offices…….

Ok geek comment – but I think thats the best vinyl press I have every seen! Love it……….
Also it says on discogs they were sold on tour!!?? Just thought I would say, But anyone can write on discogs(even I have added about 10 things!)

It’s strange the trend with the last 3 (Farm/Several shades & now IBOS) to have promo versions with a instrumental CD? I’ve seen other bands do it with demos, but not finished copies…….. I have the other two, I would love to hear this – cough cough (torrent someone!?)

I love listening to Several shades instrumentally when I read, Although not reading several shades I must add……

I did email Dinosaur jr MGMT and Jagjaguwar about having a I bet on sky LTD release with the instrumental CD about 6 months ago – I think my emails go straight to Junk now though 🙂

Also It would be great if they did just a vocal CD so I could play along on my guitar !

I really don’t know about that show, Just like the track selection more! Don’t get me wrong the Bug DVD is far better in sound and quality, But I would love a live DVD with a few tracks off each album. Although Bug is in my top 3 so I’m very happy they did it!

It was 2002, The Bush Hall one in London is on there to and good! I was at that gig.

Oh yea, I just checked that out…… I have all my stuff on a hard drive so I never really look at the boxes anymore….. good catch

If I was you I would download them both from freesofree and then throw all the files into windows live movie maker and make them both back into full gigs. I compressed them using handbrake after that(free programme) and then put them on a flash stick or DVD…. The Olso concert even like that is A9/V9 on my 50″ TV through my Bose speakers its that awesome!
