But it WAS by Dino. Jr. and not J. Mascis & the Fog, right? I have a free lunch riding on this so I need confirmation.
Yeah, that’s pretty darned funny. The girl couldn’t sue the photographer for illegal usage of photo since she’d be admitting to underage smoking… LOL.
I’d post this in the MP3 + Live forum for better response, but if all you need is the FTP info, then it’s:
host: freakscene.myftp.org
user/pass: freakscene/wattage
quote:
Originally posted by jeremiah:

Not picking, just remembering that film in my head…

we could get a nice old conspiracy theory going here. I must confess that I’ve never seen J and Jeremiah together….so there you go

Oh, it’s confirmed then, because the 2 times I saw J. I did not see a large scary dinosaur named Jeremiah standing around.

Weird. My guilty pleasure song is "Everything I do, I do it for you" by Bryan Adams.
Good Topic, btw.
quote:
Originally posted by Robert:
Sounds like we’re up for an interesting version! Gonna get hold of that one!

Trust me, if you like covers, this is definitely an interesting one.

Yeah, it’s great! If you havnen’t done so already you should check out the covers in the uplads section of Freakscene FTP. I’ve uploaded Barbie Girl, Oh Donna, Take On Me and Summer Of 69 by MxPx. Plus a whole bunch more punk covers. Me First And Then Gimme Gimme’s version of the Cheers theme is excellent!

Speaking of punk rock covers, has anyone heard Alien Ant Farm’s new single, a cover of Michael Jackson’s Smooth Criminal? Good stuff.
I ama guitarist by nature, and have never played a drum, therefore, much of your post was like, "uh… ok" to me, but I must say, it was an awesome story about being in school with J.
Thanks for the memories.
I especially admire Tool in that they’re not afraid to do non-radio friendly tracks (i.e. songs over 4 minutes). I’m actually quite suprised Schism is getting radioplay considering its length. But then again, Tool never was one to care for success in the traditional sense [commercial], but rather eschewing such things for asthetic and critical beauty.

er, actually I like them. I use them to store my CDRs in. Much easier to handle. As far as album artwork, I do like full size cases though…

Well, that was a let down, here I was excited that I had a supporter in the movement to destroy those damned things… j/k…
BUMP – come on people, EVERYONE hates slimline cases!
