And for balance, a Lions update!
Lions: still suck. UPDATED!
Holy crap. I’ve never enjoyed a Malcom Report yet, but this was by far the most interesting. Let me know how it turns out, my little LiveJournal buddy, I’m eagerly anticipating an outcome. I’m hoping for you!
Did you guys see apparently Malkmus and the Jicks played an entire Pavement set (with requests) in Minneapolis the other night. I would’ve killed to be there.
If you schedule a two-day American knockoff of Glastonbury with Radiohead, Beck, Beastie Boys, Sigur Ros, Blur, Underworld, Spiritualized, Liz Phair, Thievery Corporation, N.E.R.D., the Roots, Elliot Smith, Ours, Tortoise, Interpol, and more, and book it in Long Island making Jaron take time off work and make expensive reservations, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD: DO NOT PLAY SOME STUPID "IS THE SHOW CANCELLED OR IS IT NOT?" RIGHT UP UNTIL THE DAY OF THE EVENT!!!

"Valentine Frankenstein" wrote:And that’s unfortunate because ‘Free So Free’, the second record he’s recorded under the banner of J Mascis & The Fog, is a cracker of an album – I’d say his best since Dinosaur Jr’s ‘Where You Been?’ in 1993.This is where I stopped reading.

Congrats all the same!

I think I speak for Jaron when I say, "What the hell?"
