December 27, 2005 at 7:29 pm in reply to: Would a Jazz Chorus 77 be any good for playing Dinosaur Jr? #113424yah i like have an old 90s crate vc series and its pretty nice cause it has two swithcable channels clean fender type then a marshall distortion one which i like to use both for my j ripp off sound a like. i have a jazzmaster-dunlap wah-eh russian big muff-vintage mvr distortion+-eh small clone-eh electric mistress-crate vc 50 w (or unknown cheap 60s made black amp)
ps its the one that doesnt have the digital fx in it i got it for 350 cause it was very unpopular dont know why its build like a tank
yah the only big notice for me on YLAOM is they dont have "show me the way" on the reissue *its not the best cover by anymeans* but instead have "just like heaven" which i would have like to seen them both on the reissue but they have the videos on there so its a fair trade
yah im dyin to see dinosaur jr at los vegas but i dont have a ride:(
oh hey rich its feral child from myspace
hmm i always thought he did this so he could use one for like leads and the other for like rythums>*im probably wrong* you know like have one head for a cleanier sound then the other for heavy distortion, leads, ect.
i wonder what acoustic strings he uses?
"fury thing" wrote:Hi there! Yesterday I finished building my own superfuzz pedal! I was wondering: Does one of you guys own a ‘real’ superfuzz pedal? I was wondering how the original pedals sound, because the one I built has a kinda crancky noisy fuzz sound (which is great, it rocks like hell !!). It has a weird sustain, since it fades out like a noise gate. But anyway, I only tried it at home, so I still need to try it in our practice room to see how loud it really is….(im off subject but)just wondering if your willing to sell or make another one
ive been helping my uncle with a firebird style guitar and lol ive put a mustang bridge on my jazzmaster been think about putting a jaguar pickup in the middle position mybe
