I’ve read a couple of the books. They vary widely like matt said,
Led Zeppelin IV was boring, the whole thing was just about the occult
The Who Sell Out was terrible, it was all about pirate radio
Armed Forces was stellar and had tons of information on the album, tour, and Elvis at the time
The Stone Roses was pretty good, the guy did a good job of putting himself in the book while providing lots of stuff I had never heard before about the band
Let It Be (The Mats) by Colin Meloy was the worst thing in the world. The guy who wrote the YLAOM one seems to be a professor in music so hopefully it’ll be more about the history of the album and not what it meant to him.
From what I can tell (since the guy on the far right is playing guitar and so is the guy second from the left) I think the fellow all the way to the left is playing bass so I think J’s on drums.

I’m glad he cleared up the Fog/ATP booking for me!
I wonder what song they’ll play?

Didn’t J once remark that since a guitar sounds better with distortion, a whole record would too?
That was in Our Band Could Be Your Life about YLAOM
The 16"x20" autographed poster sure made my day. I wasn’t expecting that.
Maybe it was on the actually set list and that’s where I’m getting confused. I know what they had written and what they played was different because I know for a fact Been there All the Time was on the list but never got played.
I was at the show too and loved it! It was my first time seeing the band. I was only 12 feet from J and much closer to Murph and Lou! I put my 7" halfway down the front of my pants and tried not to get knocked around much (pretty difficult with only 1 guy and a bouncer between me and the drums) and let the band hit me. The 7" did get a bit warped and I sweated through the sleeve so I don’t think I’ll get much use out of it besides a souvenir (anyone have a download key?).
I too picked up a poster on the way out (as well as one of Lou’s picks!) and can’t wait to put it up in my room.
I too am a little sketchy on the setlist now, but did they play Mountain Man? Maybe not.
