yeah, thanks a lot for the pics!

great reviews, thoughts and pics all around

sounds like they rocked the apartments round the Central Park
yeah, they perform it live like that: Noooo oo o – cut!

and don’t forget that J recorded with the Magik Markers for their new album:
http://forum.freakscene.net/viewtopic.php?p=76744″>http://forum.freakscene.net/viewtopic.php?p=76744
and they’re on Thurston Moore’s label Ecstatic Peace.
so it’s not that much of a surprise that they were opening for a bunch of Dino shows.in the reunion shows I’ve seen (London & Berlin) J was thanking the crowd for cheering quite after each song, not only after one or two songs, which showed me that he really appreciates that we were into what he was doing up there. he’s not a talker, but I think he’s meaning what he’s saying.
yeah, go & have the time of your life!
😀
I hope you’ll find nice company, but if so or not, at least you’ll meet a bunch of cool Dinosaur Jr fans there
hot find

Goldinberlin/Kitsune Studio seems to be the production company of Philipp Virus (Luisa’s brother) and his coworkers Kinski et al.
…so it looks like they’re producing that DVD.
the Kitsune site says:
Quote:"FREAKSCENE – Dinosaur Jr./J Mascis documentary" 2005 (cinema/DVD production)on the occasion of the Dinosaur Jr reunion tour in summer 2005 (Europe/USA/Japan), there will be produced a documentary about J Mascis and Dinosaur Jr.
The film contains material out of the J Mascis/ Dinosaur Jr archives (live shows, music, interviews, etc) from the 80’s and 90’s, and also new material from the upcoming world tour with live cuts and interviews.the shootings will be started at the legendary Forum in London, where the band will be play at two sold out shows. Further the Gold team will accompany the tour through Holland, Germany and the USA.
…you see, trensidoh resumed it quite well

it’s so cool catch as many gigs as possible, like you do! do

thanks a lot for the reviews, looking forward to reading more
thanks so much for all the pics and reviews. totally nice and cool to read and view all that …makes me wish that I’d have been there, too

have loads of fun tonight!

..I’m looking forward to anything you guys bring back from the shows´, like reviews, setlists, pics, or even recordings

cute setlist

I also liked the lettering of the Orlando setlist which has been posted by fuzzhack in the other topic:

Decemberists -Picaresque (sp?)

…definitely one I’m adding to my list! just discovered them, and loved them right away. people who like bands like Neutral Milk Hotel would like the Decemberists, too. that kind of intensity that grows with listening…awww, sorry to hear that.
in London there was a gap between crowd and stage, where the tapers were recording, but in Berlin we stood right in front of the stage. and in Berlin, the videotapers were acting very decent, almost all the time only on stage, no pushing people around.I think for shots out of the crowd they should wait until they are in venues with a reeling in front of the stage.
the band’s videotapers did a lot of crowd shots in London, I agree I hope to see a lot of these on the DVD, all the enthusiasm & movement

thank you so much guys!

there’s a bit of time left until August, so I’ll be "working" my way through these records
