Sophia "Technology Won’t Save Us"
Richard Manuel R.I.P.

I always liked the way he sang in falsetto. Not to mention his "normal" voice sounded just like ray charles.I also haven’t listened to without a sound in quite some time. Not my fave but some tracks stand out: grab it, over your shoulder, feel the pain…..
J and Neil dogsledding in alaska. I wonder what that was like. anybody have any stories?
"Flying Cloud" is the name of the ski slope.
"steppin’ out I tried to fix it. pulled a thumb out of that hole. give me ingredients I’ll mix it. How can you move without a goal?"
Yeah, I almost forgot. I think they played "never bought it". Did anyone record that? I also remember the Lemonhead playing on Jenny Jones with Murph drumming. Jennny must have been going through her post punk phase then……I was going through some of my old VHS tapes when I found a recording of the "John Stewart Show" with Dinosaur Jr. They played "Grab It" and part of "Sludgefeast". Remember that? John introduced them as one of his "favorite" bands. What a time capsule!
The "stuff" at the end of Everything flows medley is actually a ranting Buddy Rich yelling at his band. Really funny stuff. I heard the "whole" tape and it’s definitely worth checkin’ out.
Good topic. The first time I heard the "wagon" was when I saw the G&S video "Footage". I think the video came out before Green Mind was released. Around 1990? It was amazing. It’s the first song on the video with skating by Duane Peters I think. If you are into skating and Dino I highly recommend this video. Also, Santa Cruz "Speed Freaks" features "Freak Scene". how fitting! The last video I saw with a dino tune was the directorial debut by Spike Jonze: Blind "Video Days" with "Just like Heaven". The video also features legendary skater/actor Jason lee and the skate cult classic hit "the knife song" by milk. That was along time ago.
Just wanted mention that mark and john backed J on If that’s how it’s gotta be while he was playing the acoustic guitar. I don’t think anyone mentioned that (it was just the end of the song though).
Hi I have many t-shirts that I haven’t worn in years like: Purle with cow, white start choppin’, black where you been cover, Black whatever’s cool with me, black castle, white green mind, and the two fog shirts. I also have a white shirt with Dinosaur jr. in red. It has a dog on the front (not the bulldog) and on the back is a picture of j and murph. I’m not even sure what show I purchased it at. weird.
Just got the "waisin’" single. Cool stuff. I like the hardcore song "See it as always". I’m looking forward to the live CD. Does anyone know when it will be released? By the way, I purchased the cd through Glitterhouse (and it worked). I had some trouble with City Slang, when "where’d you go" was released. So if any of you want an offical release, I would recommend Glitterhouse. Later ED

I hope I’ll be able to find that single. I tried to order Where you been from City Slang and they never got my order. God only knows where my credit card number went. Well, thanks again. ed
I recently saw the "Dinosaur" album in Circuit City for $4 and change! Unbelievable! You can tell that it was reduced several times. It was my first time in the store and I left the cd in front so someone would see it and sure enough the next time I went there it was gone. Well I hope it got a good home. Later.
"Steppin’ out I tried to fix it. Pulled a thumb out of that hole. Give me ingredients I’ll mix it. How can you move without a goal." I hope that’s right. If I have a favorite Dino tune it would have to be thumb. Later

The interview is four minutes and fifty seconds. Plus two acoustic live performances of Sameday and Waistin.
