thank you for identifying the feeling i’ve been trying to understand. i’ve been diagnosed… finally. totally bummed out back in VT. and it happened for me after the central park show as well. it was three glorious nights in a row of dinosaur…and now…nothing. what do we do? is there a pill for this? i mean a legal one? boo hoo hoo. i relive it in my head and believe memories are good for coping.

wooooohooooo. just getting back to burlington, vt from last night’s "experience"; which happened to be religious. glad to see it got taped. thanks Pete! i saw a few red lights along the balcony edge, were one of those from your camera? hopefully those others will also be so generous to share their recordings here or @ anthony’s site. and anthony, i was chillin with your cousin! i was happy to run into a few friends from the college days who came out of the blue. dino fans are the best. so loyal. twas a beautiful show. cheers to the northampton crew, props to Pop-a-Wheelie, who put us up and put up with us.

tell him about the fact that Kurt asked J to play drums for Nirvana. Introductions to new bands are tricky, I’m glad to see that you’re researching first. associations to other things one finds favorable is a great way to introduce them to new things you hope they will find favorable. psychobabble. good luck! also, give him a username and password to freakscene.net! let him see how cool and supportive all the fans are. and that we r WORLDWIDE! -jimi

p.s. i’ve gotten friends in to bands by going for road trips, turning the player all the way up, and screeming my head off along with the disc. that seems to work most of the time. they r forced to listen and at least enjoy your enjoyment that way. : )

                hey jwallace,
i "hear" ya about that one. is that ring of joy supposed to last three days? or did i do permanent damage sun night in albany? saw a great band last night called ""rock n Roll sherpa" which added another level of ring to the pre-existing one. i completely adore those bands who can produce a wall of sound……i’m sure that will not be the case when i visit an otolaryngologist (yeah, it’s a new word for me too). Nice to see reviews of the ones i can’t attend…KEEP EM COMIN!!! -jimi

It’s so funny to see this post, cause i noticed his bright green neon-esque running sneakers at the show in albany. they were quite outstanding. no clue what brand…never seen anything like them b4. also, loved seeing his purple t-shirt with the cow on it. he totally rocks. image, sound, talent, shoes,….he’s definately got it all together.

i’ve got (as part of the recording of the albany show) j thanking freakscene.net/ but he calls it .com/ for the guitar pedal. that was very cool of you ammaring to get that all together!

                          The Wagon
                          Get Me
                          Just Like Heaven
                          Repulsion

                          Oncore:
(thanked freakscene, but clled us .com/ not .net)
                          Freakscene
                          Thumb

So my recording didn’t come out so well….General Electric makes a mean toster oven, but they’ve got lots of work to do on their recording walkmen!! It’s nice to have it on tape; not so nice straining to hear the music through the hisssssssss. More signed ticket stubs and broken drumsticks to add to the collection makes me happy. Can’t wait to hear about the rest of the tour. -jimi

Woah. Tryin to get through today @ work w/ a little hearing loss is tough. I had a great time @ the show and got a copy (not a good one), but a copy of it on tape. I’ll post the setlist when I get home this eve. He thanked FREAKSCENE.NET!!!! for the pedal and spoke briefly of the fire. G. Berz played drums and a first time bassist named….ummmmm…..oh i forget. That’ll be posted w/ the setlist as well. I’m psyched that I got the chance to thank him for the years of great music again after the show. I hope everyone else has a comprably (is that a word? or did i just make it up?) wonderful experience when they see him rock out on this tour.

Bob, hey it’s jcows (the one who stood you up re: the last valentine’s appearance recording) it got lost in the moving process and is now gone forever; though i think my ex is keeping it for herself to spite me. i’m psyched about this one!! I’ll be down….I’ll be around. If you’d like to meet up and holla at me about the bootleg dis give a call. i still have your #. so probably would be better for me to call you. bobocap,
