E-im not sure if its 100% perfect, but i think its pretty close.if you have questions om me.
i could probly do a cover of repulsions, or forget the swan, or budge, bt i dont have a bass rig or drum kit or recording stuff. but i know where i can get some, so i might add something.
what in the world do the probe(s) do? ive looked, and i’ve read, and i’ve got nothing on it.
what kinda boxes are you building? and if i had money, id buy some cables, but right now im flat broke.
now theres more than three(darn you electro hormonix). theres the metal muff, the mini muff, the double muff, the russian big muff, the nyc ri big muff, the nyc one is a little "fatter" "more creamy." the russian one is thinner and ahrsher(this information about this pedal isnt comeing from my mouth, but a friend who owns one) and the double muff is two muff fuzz’s(not big muffs) in a box, not two full fledged big muffs, good sounds if your into it. i have no clue what the metal, and mini muff’s sound like. if you want something wild, id get a fender blender(hardly useable in your average sense) or the fuzz factory(amazing) but out of the big muffs, i myslef would(and did) pick the nyc one. its just better quality.
"Mattman " wrote:I have one of the USA ’62 RI’s and it’s a very nice guitar, but my Tele sees more use. Jazzmaster are different from a lot of other guitars. They have a longer scale neck and the stock bridge is a pain in the butt, but that’s addressable. I wouldn’t trade your guitars to buy one blindly though. Try one first, even if you have to do some searching…sorry to correct, but the jazzy is a 25.5" scale, same as strat, the jag is 24, same as the mustang(excluding the custom scale 22.6) the jazzmaster mia is the best guitar fender makes out side of the custom shop. its not worth the 1700 that they sell new for but if you could catch a deal of 1400, than its worth every bit. if you play super hard, than get a stang bridge or a buzz stop(which disables the tremelo) personally the jazzmasters more trouble than worth if you want it for image, but if you want it for its sound, and its fantastic playabilty, than its worth its up keep. soon (around this fall) ill be buying an mia jazzy myself, and its goinmg to be my trat of an early holiday. its my favorite guitar, also if your going to be spending that much money, get a colour you like, which is the only thing keeping me back from it. have fun playing man!
i think mines kinda diffrent, i havent looked at it in a while ill post mine this weekend if i get the time.
im sorry, i have repulsion including solo 99.9% right, im just to lazy to put it on the net.
December 22, 2005 at 1:03 am in reply to: Would a Jazz Chorus 77 be any good for playing Dinosaur Jr? #113422hm, man i know j sounds very good, find your "own sound." i might sound a tad snobish for that, but i mean playing covers is fine, but you should just spring off the branch, and by a total acident i have 80% of the early j tone, except for a jazzy which is sadly also my favorite guitar, so im not sure how much of an oxymoron it sounds like me saying find your own sound, but anyway to your question yes it sound like the clean j sound. also te $99 epi-valve jr. its very nice, not too loud, and it sounds rather nice form what i’ve heard.
yes, frets (unless you want to ruin your guitar) should always be done by a tech.
zvex makes some nice stuff.
congrats. i hope it sounds nice. my ears ring constantly due to my hotrod deville set at a blistering one. but at 60 tube watts you cant expect much more than near deaf experinces.
im almost positive its his bm and his mistress. the electro hormonix mistress can sounds like that. and from what i remember he was good at tweaking it. (i.e. listen to forget the swan) like i said almost positive.
good buy, id like to own a twin someday, they are great fender amps. although im tempted to purchas a metamp
