Here is a ‘lil taste of things to come (return) so you can see them live together
Mattman has a very nice collection of tabs @ his page – http://www.toptown.com/hp/mattman
And I’m Insane has a large collection as well http://hem.passagen.se/animen/
be sure to sign their guestbooks and let em know ya enjoyed them
Do any of you have the Alien workshop tape that has a video for Little Ethnic Song?
If so, get in touch with me please Definatly news that he performed live with them! Very cool!
Would love to see that video sometime if you ever do get a chance to copy it.
Hey, I’ve never heard of that boot but I would like to hear it
I know all to well about bootleg overpricing which is why it is a personal goal of mine to make all the dino/j bootlegs I/we can find easily available and of course free I definatly encourage people to post what they have so that everyone can enjoy them (which in turn adds to your collection too)
Did it come with the nice packaging (if so, do you have a scanner? ) or was it just a cdr?
What tracks are on it?
quote:
Originally posted by Mattman:

guess I’m addicted Cool to hear it got a mention on Much Music. Just got a satellite and I really enjoy M2 and Much Music. Have actually seen "Where’d You Go" on both
Great topic Allison!
You guys are up late!!!! I am very jelous of those days off, I hope you guys are making the most of ’em!
What I’ve been listening too (non-dino)…
1) At The Drive-In – Relationship Of Command
*I just think this is a great rock record. Have not heard any of their earlier stuff though. Makes for a FAST drive into work
Maybe too fast *looks at warning ticket*2) Modest Mouse – This Is A Long Drive For Someone with Nothing to Think About
* This is a long title to type for someone that is at work Don’t even know where to begin. Nearly perfect.
Allison, my wife hates them too but I get the same twisted pleasure from watching her face when she is in my car 3) Built to Spill – Keep It Like A Secret
* Carry the Zero & Broken Chairs are tied for my fave tracks on the album. BC is a great whistle along tune4) Pavement – Westing (By Musket & Sextant)
* Break this out every summer. I spent a couple weeks making my own cover of this whole album in my bedroom at one point with a shitty epiphone Les Paul jr, 2 small amps (mutated by myself), my old Vestor Bass (a short lived but kick ass guitar company owned by Gene Simmons), drum samples on a keyboard and some cheap ass mics. Lo-fi indeed. Always takes me back…
"I’m taking the next bus outta here
I’m gonna head to Box Elder, MO"5) RZA – RZA as Bobby Digital in Stereo-
* This album cracks me up but the line that takes the cake for me is when ODB starts talking about "triple breed M.F.’s"
That is just too much
Probably my favorite rap Producer/Engineer although Ice Cube is still my favorite rapper (if you can forgive him for that Korn stuff ). Speaking of which, did you know the Del the Funky Homosapian is Ice Cube’s cousin which brings yet another 6 degrees of J Mascis down to 2.also, like Mattman I have many, many mp3s from my cds and such that I have archived to cdr. The Complete Ramones collection, Complete Dino + 2 vols of bootlegs, Complete Sonic Youth and various others. This helps get me throught the work day!!!!!
better get back to work
damn I miss my bass….
I just got a lil’ container for my sea boogers and I’m gonna play god this weekend and give them life.
Gonna try and teach ’em tricks too
I love that one…

I was taping some of that show for an article I’m doing on Watt. I’ll try and cut together a couple of tracks and post them – though I’m not sure how great the audio is going to be. We got kicked out of the press pit after 3 tracks, so the later stuff is only filmed from the sidelines. If anyone has a good sound recording of that show I could overdub that audio onto my footage.
I got a few good snaps of Watt which I’ll post too, but not much J I’m afraid….

I’d love to see some of that!!!!
yes I meant to type addiction instead of addition. At least that’s my story….
