I bought SugarTown @ blockbuster last week for $2 That is cheaper than renting. It has early versions of back before you go, leaving on a jet plane and a few small songs just for the movie (nerves theme and such).
Pretty cool. J is not in that one although he is in Grace Of My Heart if you have not seen that.

TRACKS:

IN A JAR
DOUBT
POST
BULBS
NO BONES
FREAKSCENE
FAITH

BIG CHUNKS
MUFFLER

These are the tracks as listed on the cd but they (as with 70% of the bootlegs I own) are mislabled. The correct titles are the ones Dermot (Wibble) has listed. An excellent addition to your collection.

Hey Dfkgurl, I always forgot he calls Jacksonville home now (keep him). He attended/dropped out of high school (and mother still has a house) where I live.. That crap is always on the radio and there are little articles in the paper about him all the time. I feel your pain.

When I think ‘Slacker’ I think of someone that does nothing but lounge around. No goals or ambition. I totally agree with you on the cool persona J has. Take it or leave it, the music can stand on its on. Still don’t think ‘Slacker’ is the term I would use to describe that that.

Hey Rosa, I’m sorry if I offended you. I agree with what you said in your previous post and have proven it as I played both roles at one point or another in school. I was just laughing about that image of a bone through someones hair and a purple nose. Must be suffering from a lack of sleep because that made me laugh outloud at work.

In Rolling Stone a couple years they had a little sidebar article on artists that were doing things with commercials. They mentioned that J was turned down for a Nike commercial. Very odd..

I thought the use of Out There in Waynes’ World was pretty cool. Did not fit but gave the ‘saur more exposure. The strangest J addition to a soundtrack would have to be Blah on the Melrose Place soundtrack. Clearly the standout track on the album even thought I was ashamed to buy it at the time.

When I was underage I would just say not drinking and they would plant that big X on my hand and sent me on my way. I am not promising that this will work for everyone but it never failed me. Also, claiming that you are the designated driver of another attending friend (or someone you meet outside) works too.

Enjoy the show and we expect a full report

I just voted. I suggest everyone go do this! It shows you the standings after you vote and J and the Fog is getting up there! Thanks for the tip Lars, I’d love to hear this if they play it.

Also, it looks like you can vote multiple times (not that I’m saying to do that)
