J’s Jimmy Carter song is the funniest thing I’ve read in a while.
I just get a blank page when I click the link…does anyone feel like copying and pasting?

Totally the best. The way the last sustained note feeds back an octave higher…awww man.

On Dinosaur, the only possible Casio I hear is a fuzzed-out drone at the beginning of Severed Lips. I don’t know if Lou and Murph played it at the same time, though…
I don’t even know what a lynching gator bite cross is…but I guess that worked to my advantage!
Holy Christ is Mike Watt out of tune in that video…
Anyways, J’s hair might have started to go grey after the van accident on that Fog tour. Can anyone support this conjecture?
Wow…that sucks.

I’m pretty sure Lou sings lead on Forget the Swan (except for the bridge, which is J), most of Cats In a Bowl except for the hoedown part at the end, all of Does It Float, the "I’m starving" part of Pointless, the verses and "the <<something>>’s escaping" part of each chorus in Gargoyle, and all of Mountain Man (J joins him on the choruses).
However, while on Mountain Man Lou sings the entire thing live, the first four lines sound like someone else on the album…that might be Murph.

Bump
Haha I used a lousy 4-track Korg with a tube amp simulator on it, and plugged my SG directly into that. The other stuff is just acoustic guitar and my mouth.
WHERE’S THE FUCKING WAH, too!!!
For a band whose live sound involves face-melting wah, it sure is weird not to have any of that presence on the album. Did J’s favorite pedal get stolen or something? I was pretty sure he was still using it live…he was back in August when I saw them.
