Hy Hybridge. You’re talking about Lou’s songs on the last two dinosaurjr.’s. I liked them
at first but they ruin J’s guitar tone, if it were a concept album. I wasn’t there in the days when you couldn’t hear Lou play bass. Maybe Dinosaur was mastered for a Laserdisc? I listened to blue oyster cult laserdisc and someone else’s version (many Black Betty). It’s still ironic after first listened to on mp3 and not hearing the bass. It’s intersting. But is Lou talking about my wall. Filfthy Wall? Pink Floyd’ Dark Side Of The Moon and The Wall are real concept albums. Lou’s still a sleigher thpugh.hi doesitfloat. I think that sometimes, like J says he thinks of videos as little movies. But as I understand it the tracks are not laid out on a whole album to form a movie. Free So Free kinda realised me to that. The Dino follow up Beyond would have been a little better with a dif’t tracklisting. I always reference back to Hand It Over and J’s powerful lyric “Grasp The Concept”. The traditional definition of a “concept album” would match You’re Living All Over Me in Dino’s Discography. Still, I voted for I Bet On Sky. 🙂

empire2, reminded me few nights ago when Johnny Marr revealed a new song on a late show. I never thought I’d live to see the day the Dino frontman and Johnny Marr would play. I don’t think his band is named The Faith Healers anymore. Is that all Fedora played on, Turnip Farm and Drawerings?

That was pretty sweet J mentioning it in “No Way”.I bought this Album but only listened to it once, keeping my dogma in check ya know. I givre it two thumbs up.

I HOPE NOT. Either the whole band or just J said they only wanted to do 3 albums. I realize a lot of people listen and do think they are the greatest rock band but can they get thru the crowd of maturity that judges these things. Dinosaur sorta advanced, even if, well if I thought their lyrics were somewhere between the smiths and bad religion. If I had to draw a comparison. But I don’t want them to be in the hall of fame. imho
