dinosaur jr. reunion is a special thing, maany many songs from the first albums havent been played like in like 17-18 years, any of these songs could be played at the shows these songs may never be played by the fog, or perhaps j will decide to bring some of these old songs into the fog set. i mean he only plays like 5-6 songs from the old albums these days. but the fog will allways have j latest stuff, and i love the fog songs. thats not what dinosaur is though. i mean to hate on them for not planning to record material before they even play for the first time in 16 years is crazy. you cant just say "were gonna reunite.. were gonna record new material" thats just not how it goes.. for j to say theyre NOT gonna record new stuff.. he took the right route in saying that.. at this point who knows whats to come. all i know is old dinosaur is great and anything they play will be great. i fucking love the fog though esspecially right now.. dave and kyle are the best.

i think lou and j’s voices go so well togehter, when lou comes in for the chorus of "in a jar" or the last chorus of "raisans" at old dinosaur shows it flows like nothing ive ever heard. I do however feel that dave schools vocals are amazing and the only thing to compare with lou’s post lou. as far as beauty in his voice, and how good he could scream. Watts vocals were fucking amazing in a different way. Not a lou way. I cant wait to hear J + lou together on the microphones again. I think both of their voices have come a long way since 1989 and i think the change is gonna be beautiful…but thats just me..

great news for the cali fans though, congrats to you guys, wish i could get there but theres no way with my work schedule.

i dont think as many people care about dinosaur as do about the pixies.
I bet theyll just play the same venues that J + the fog play. I mean it cant be much bigger than a sonic youth crowd and sonic youth plays those same venues.. granted its a big reunion and all i still dont see it getting that big.

the reason you hadnt noticed it is cause it wasnt there, it was like that on the vinyl, and when it first came to cd, the kracked and sludgefeast were split up. j talked about how he put them back together when he remastered it. i like it that way, the true way. haha
