yes, the guitar player was no stephens or holden, but i think he did a great job, and he added a lot of his own noise and feedback craziness to a lot of songs…..oh yeah, he had a Melvins shirt on to…….AWESOME!

oh man, i was goin in hopin theyd be decent….they fucking blew me away. they played all old songs, just the first 2 albums. whaley is still a monster behind the drums, and peterson was amazing, he still sounds exactly the same…songs i remember are pretty much the whole Vincebus Eruptum album, and the hunter and just a little bit

highlight was parchment farm into out of focus

Bar is a very cool place. yes, it still brews its own beer and has some of the best pizza in new haven. their on going free sunday night rock shows always bring in cool acts. ive caught dead meadow there a few times, high on fire, kinski with kawabato from acid mothers, and all for free.

well, Witch has pulled out of the new haven show…..second CT date theyve cancelled in the past few months. i would have gone to both the iron horse and pearl street shows if i knew they were gonna back out of the CT dates. now ive missed 2 northampton shows i easily could have and should have gone to…WTF??

well, can anyone give an explanation for this?? i know Witch wont….im sure they really dont care, thats the impression i got from the booking guy at Bar, where they just cancelled

i guess when you reach the status of J, or heck even sonic youth who also has cancelled 2 CT dates in the past few years and never made them up, alll you see is dollar signs and not your fans who really want to see you. well, since SY cancelled those 2 shows. i havent gone to see them again or bought any of thier new stuff….im DL it now…fuck them, i rather steal it than give them money. maybe Witch deserves the same treatment now

yeah, i know, i live in CT, and J and Sonic Youth play in MA and NYC all the time, but when i specifically dont go to those shows because im led to beleive they are playing in my state, i feel screwed

so sad…

this was actually done on some pearl jam site. i downloaded it off dime….they had a poll and people wrote in stating thier fav live performance of all the songs off Ten, then made a dvd for all to download of the most voted for performance of each song..its a great idea, we should do it

wow, is Leigh Stephens back with them???? i heard they had a falling out a long time ago and werent on speaking terms. some people on the sonic youth boards were saying it was a weak Blue Cheer lineup with only peterson left in the band….can you link me to that article or link me to a site that confirms leigh stephens is back with them?

i always thought "forget and hide" was "for getting high"

the "hey whats bubblin down under there" line i thought was related to smokin pot, so for getting high always seemed to make sense to me

yes, this sucks…..CT always gets screwed for shows cause bands of course would rather play in NYC or boston, even providence……sonic youth in the past few years has cancelled 2 shows in CT and never made any of them up….oh well i guess
