might not be the best suggestion but:

      Institutionalized by Suicidal Tendancies

It is actually a funny song. They are a hardcore/metal band but this track makes me laugh. All the kid wants is a pepsi and his mom thinks he is on drugs so they throw him in an institutition because they said it was the only solution to save him from the enemy, himself.

I just got around to finishing Dharma Bums (Kerouac). It made me wish I was still walking the earth aimlessly, but alas Mon-fri is a choice we all have to make now and then.

I’m probably heading back into the Quixote. Don that is. I read parts of it every summer. It makes me smile and think, which is good.

I read a Borges story everynight or so to gain knowledge and have a rotating stock of HST where thinking is best accomplished

I can’t watch the draft. Too much talk and it’s just really a list of names. I read the paper the next day and save time, however I try to catch the stillers pick, but alas they traded up, which they never do, and I missed it. Some Saftey kid from southern cal. I was hoping they’d get Larry Johnson, but the secondary is the problem so solutions seem started.

The Bears picked up Michael Haynes. He is a monster pass rusher and I think Bears fans will dig his skills and drive. They might have been hoping for Jimmy Kennedy, but the Rams grabed him which makes me sad. I hate the Rams but I like to root for Penn State kids in the pros.

Stillers next pick is 59th, which should be sometime next week at this pace…

The Slow Century Pavement DVD is a benchmark. Anything similar in a Dinosaur Jr./J fashion would be too good to be true.

Not to sound too out of it, but Circuit8? A band? label?

It definitely would be worth picking up if J is involved…

reissues are cool, but rebuying the same album strikes me as overconsumerism. However, if the bells and whistles are right, I’m in…

money for artists is a good thing.

money makes most things bad, but gosh darnit people need to eat.

I just hate when actors try to be cool, when they should be their characters on screen.

Those links are cool, thanks much :) 8)

they freakin’ had that Friends show on in the kitchen at work, and Jennifer Aniston was wearing an MC5 shirt.

I wasn’t going to post here, but the sawmill is too much to pass up.

I fly by the moment, and most likely I won’t be working the 26th so I’ll be hoping to attend, and if you drew a line from philly to my town it would pass through your town, sort of, so if the ride is open closer to the day I’ll be able to say, hell yeah, and tour a saw mill.

I’m no good will long term plans/goals.

I need to see this show I think though. I just joined freesofree.net and the shows there are incredible.

All is well, hope you get more riders then we can have a freakscene convoy.
