I do think that the rock/punk/whatever music climate is definately dominated by men. At the same time I tend to like a band that has female members, because those are the people who rose above the bullshit and who really want to be there playing music.
Also I don’t think that comment makes you sexist.
I dunno…judging from the way they acted at the Sebadoh show in DC the Bent Moustache guys seem really uptight and full of their own shit. Maybe it was just a bad day, who knows.
I saw the Locust and Daughters a few days ago in DC, it was a really great show.
Hopefully I’ll get to see Lightning Bolt next week. Otherwise shit will be really angry in my house for awhile.
Yea, a friend of mine is going to school there next year. Wild stuff.
Ok guys, I take back my reserved song. My band just broke up, so maybe I’ll do something solo, I dunno yet.
I call ‘Keep the Glove’
I’ll do it. With luck I can have something by the end of the day tomorrow.

These are the pedals that’re typically at my feet… a Boss TU2, a Digitech WH1, an Electro Harmonix 16 Second Delay, a vintage MXR Dyna Comp, a Lovetone Meatball and Big Cheese, a Crowther Hot Cake, a Boss VB2 and DM3 and finally a well loved Holy Grail. I’m thinking about purchasing a Fuzz Factory sometime. After all, you can never have too many dirt boxes in my book!I run all of that colourful stuff through either my battered reissue AC30 or my trusty ol’ Fender Dual Showman.
Wow. Just wow.
I’m psyched, I already got my tickets for April 4th.

Awesome.
I got an EM. After playing with it for awhile I realized it isn’t too useful for general jamming purposes…I wrote one song using that big whoosh but after you do it once I’d feel guilty doing it again.
It’s really great when used without guitar though, for electro-oscillation jams I do with people.
