Man, all the cool stuff is old and expensive. I got into a semi conversation with some guy at the show about the kinda amp he uses (Fender Super Reverb), and he told me they had one at some shop around here but then I forgot the name of the place…

What I really want is an Electra Psychadelic Machine, but I’m pretty sure they’re just a myth.

The first time I saw them I’m pretty sure they played Freak Scene, No Bones, Yeah We Know, Budge, and the Post.

When D.Boon comes back to life there’s gonna be a Minutemen/Husker Du/Meat Puppets tour. I’m gonna follow it around the country, it’s gonna be awesome.

I sometimes turn the rate and color up on the EM and turn all my pedals on and it sounds like thousands of people screaming in unison. I so need to use that in a song.

The only big connection between Pavement and Dinosaur Jr is that if someone finds out you listen to Dinosaur, they automatically ask if you listen to Pavement. I don’t know why this is, but it has happened to me a few times.

I would, but I’m too far away.

I’m itichin to play bass in a band. I’m in like 3 bands and I play guitar in all of them….lame.

Here are my settings for the whoosh:

Color: Max
Range: 4 o’ clock
Rate: 8 o’ clock

Make sure to turn your distortion way up, and have the EM after the dist. Works fine for me.

I concur. When my friend (who plays drums) and I saw them in D.C. at the end he said "Wow, Murph is a fucking monster."
