Mitch Hedberg was pretty cool. He liked Monster Magnet, and made me laugh. What more could you ask of a man?

Back when I was a music n00b, I went to a record store in New York and asked if they carried Dinosaur albums. They were out, but the guy showed me this comp "Band’s that Could Be Good" and it had a Deep Wound song on it. Looking back I should have gotten it… ah well.

Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion about the shows and about the band. Still, I’m stunned that Dinosaur Jr fans have these kind of complaints about the show. Everything described, whether it’s the show being loud, J not saying much, whatever is exactly what I expect from this band.

I know. It’s what Dinosaur is known for. Thats like going to a Yes concert and complaining about the songs being too long.

True, but Lou just never got busted.

One day I’ll make cool tape collages too. I always record on analog, so it’s not like anyhting’s stoppin me…

Lou said that. Silly reviewer guy.

Besides, it’s not the 80s anymore, they’re fucking adults. They dont need to explain themselves to anyone.

I read somewhere that Lou said he "Violated his parole," so I guess so. I can only assume it’s for drugs, but I like to think he uncovered a government conspiracy/killed someone.

Is it just me, or are all the volume/lack of energy complaints coming from the Canadians?

From my understanding he overdubbed leads during recording.
