I mean, the Avian Flu was supposed to kill 70% of people on Earth or something last winter. I can’t see it making a comeback.
That song isn’t a great representation of the album though. Alot of it is like…ambient guitar wash. It sounds really British at times though, with the dance beats and stuff. It’s a great album.
I don’t see what the problem is with Watt in this song. I like it, it’s a different take on an old song.
Hey, if you played around my area I’d go to the show. I know how impossible it is for some people to get gigs, and how easy it is for others. My band can barely secure a show at a youth center when other bands in my area are playing at Chicken Out
R.J., have you checked out those Ibanez stop boxes? They have some pretty cool shit, the Fuzz box and the Lo-Fi box are both great.
More people don’t play Squiers because they think having the Fender logo on the headstock legitimizes whatever musical endeavour they’re undertaking. Sad but true.
It seems like everyone has that problem; where they write something down and then later on hate it. You just have to get over the self hatred before you can really move on and write stuff. In my case, however, I don’t start with lyrics. Lyrics in my band come last and are usually a vauge idea or statement thats shouted over and over or mumbled…it’s different for everyone.
You can still play there, only you’ll be playing to a small crowd. The venue probably won’t kick you out if a bunch of people don’t show, but you’ll have a hard time playing there again.
