i think you’re projecting knoxville’s inadequecies a bit……. a look at that audience tells me that most of the crowd know the band’s work. you had lots of people hanging back filling up the area instead of getting close, just standing around mesmerized. they sounded amazing in that venue, and i didn’t feel any need to use the earplugs i brought.

although i’m pretty down that little fury things wasn’t in the set. pick me up was incredible. this inbecile behind me started remarking about a 50 yr old man jerking off for ten minutes during an endless solo, and i told him i wish he’d just go all night.
